And don't forget - their first choice for the event was Charlotte Motor Speedway and they downsized to BankAmerica stadium. lol These idiots really thought they could fill CMS which seats 200K.

Orwelian government propoganda - or more plainly, untruthful excuses. They couldn’t fill the stadium for Der Fuerher, so rather than embarass him on national TV, they’r going to a smaller venue and blaming it on the weather. Of course they can get away with it; who belives the TV weatherman anyway.

Sarah Palin should offer to use the stadium. She’d have it filled to overflowing.

Brad Blakeman, a Bush guy, says on FoxNews that his Dem friends (who want to remain anonymous) are admitting they could NOT fill the stadium, even with free tickets and transportation. Thus, rather than have a media disaster with a half-empty stadium, they are biting the bullet and moving to the smaller venue.

Alan Colmes invokes Pat Robertson, says the rain is G_Ds fault. LOLOLOLOLOL

Maybe Fauxcahontas can do a rain dance to make heap big downpour on Thursday evening.
To: KansasGirl
It ain’t the “weather”, but the “whether”, as in “whether they can fill enough seats as to not embarrass themselves”.

If the GOP had any sand (which they don’t), they would fill the stadium w/ their own supporters and give a speech under clearing skies.
Maybe this is a job for the Tea Party?

I found this on Twitter and thought I'd share. Found it funny:
Dennis Miller @DennisDMZ
Dems move it inside. GOP should rent Bank of America Stadium for the night, put the empty chair on stage, fill it with silent Republicans.
