An anonymous individual or group is alleging that they have gained "all available 1040 tax forms" of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney by accessing computers in the Franklin office of the professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.
An anonymous posting on a file sharing website states that PwC has been hacked. This same website has been used by hackers who have claimed to have infiltrated computers from companies like Apple in the past.

Just to clarify, and you probably already know this, but he did it to JACK RYAN NOT PAUL RYAN. The dems in IL also used confusion over the name Ryan to try to associate Jack Ryan and Jim Ryan with the corrupt blow hard Gov George Ryan. Ryan is a common name.

Romney has been running for president for at least ten years. he was running for governor before that. he is a smart man. I am sure he had things well in order prior to his run knowing that there would be digging. he no doubt saw how the Clintons used the IRS as a political appendage and prepared for Hillary to be his opponent in 2008. there is likely nothing in his returns but there is a crime in anyone but him releasing them.
This isn't hacking, this is plain old theft of file documents. Do they lock the file cabinets and if so, who has keys to the cabinet? Security cameras? Too many questions unanswered.

You are dead on target. This has the smell of a cover story for a typical Axelrod/Obama dirty tricks operation. Axelrod got Geithner to breach IRS confidentiality and this phony story is let out to wipe off the fingerprints, so to speak.
Mitt’s tax returns on form 1040? I don’t think so. There is a bit more needed if PriceWaterhouse is used to do the tax computations.
