I do favor a third party but it's not going to happen this year. I had hopes that the "Tea Party" would transform the Republican party into something new but it does not seem to be panning out that way. While Tea Party is making inroads, the establishment GOP is still firmly in control. May need to start a third party but we need to do it right. None of this fringe Ross Perot/Ron Paul crap. I'm talking a third party with national infrastructure.

Under the right conditions, our new party will draw 70% of the Republicans, 50% of the Independents and 20% of the Democrats.

-——it does not seem to be panning out that way——

The presidential candidate is not the government.

The essence of the Tea Party has permeated the Republican fabric and will be felt in the House and the Senate. The bills passed with TP input will not be vetoed.

The concept of all or nothing does not apply to our form of government. Politics is said to be the art of the possible. We go forward adjusting the possible to our favor with in the constraints of available power.
