Thank you for the welcome! I agree 100%. Especially road signs that have changed or updated or have been introduced. One of my favorites here in PA is the sign that says “right turn signal”. Now I can understand why some one would sit there until that right turn signal light went green. In Pa., the sign MUST say “NO TURN ON RED” or you may make the turn on red after yielding to oncoming traffic. It is plainly in the drivers manual. If you haven’t read a license manual in 20 or 40 years you are WASTING my gasoline :) and being inconsiderate of your fellow motorist. I have dozens of pet peeves :) liked that. People forget they are piloting a ton or more of steel down the road.
Some of your laws sound like ours here in MD. Except I haven’t seen the right turn signal one. Some are obvious, but some are confusing. I’ve been driving a long time and would never think to pick up a manual after the first time. That’s why I think the newsletter is a good idea. Or a news alert on a smartphone from the MVA when law has changed. And I imagine those older than me - like my parents are totally in the dark on changed rules/laws.
