U.S. Congressman Allen West pulled in to a cheering crowd of several hundred on his motorcycle Monday for the Labor Day picnic in Jupiter’s Carlin Park.
The Palm Beach County Tea Party event featured West as the main speaker and the crowd could not have been more enthusiastic.
West took an opportunity to express his frustration with the behavior of his opponent for the CD 18 seat, Patrick Murphy.

This is How the lib media works
A Harley Biker is riding by the zoo in Washington, DC when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion’s cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the collar of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents. The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.
Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly. A reporter has watched the whole event.
The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, ‘Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I’ve seen a man do in my whole life.’
The Harley rider replies, ‘Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger and acted as I felt right.’
The reporter says, ‘Well, I’ll make sure this won’t go unnoticed. I’m a journalist, you know, and tomorrow’s paper will have this story on the front page… So, what do you do for a living and what political affiliation do you have?’
The biker replies,
‘I’m a U.S. Marine and a Republican’
The journalist leaves.
The following morning the biker buys the paper to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on the front page:
“U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND STEALS HIS LUNCH”
“West took an opportunity to express his frustration with the behavior of his opponent for the CD 18 seat, Patrick Murphy. He responded to comments made about the “gang patches” adorning his riding vest in this passionate clip that brought the crowd to its feet.”

I would pick up a rifle and follow this man in an assault on the gates of Hell. And I’m just a middle-aged lady in less-than-wonderful health. But if he gave the command, I would charge.
Please, Lord, forgive our nation. For the sake of the remnant who love and try to serve You, save us. Give this man a position of leadership for us. We ask this in the Name above all names, the Name against which no darkness can stand—the Name of Your Son. Amen.

Our own FReeper “Travis McGee” (Matt Bracken) wrote a great Trilogy about a disrupted, semi-dystopic future for the USA wherein we fell into chaos and the “South” rallied around a popular conservative military man as their political and military leader who restored leadership and government under benign martial law. One could infer “Travis” borrowed from LTC West’s persona to create this character, but I think the text preceded the rise of LTC West in real life.
I encourage you (and all FReepers) to read and learn from Matt Bracken’s “Enemies Foreign and Domestic” trilogy.
That might not be an altogether bad thing, even if folks like you and me don’t come out of it. Better to die on your feet than live on your knees.
