If, by "a few years ago", you mean the 1960s, I'd say, very few. It's been as plain as the nose on your face since at least the 1970s.

There was no talk of queer “marriage” in the 70s. This was absolutely unheard of. Not much talk of abortion before the braindead Supreme Court ruled it legal in 1973. And I meant to say DEMONCRATS.
