Rhubarb Custard....to DIE for! And you know I don’t lie :-)
It has been my “Birthday Pie” for the better part of 50 years, and is also my sons birthday “pie”...It is one of those things that you taste
and just smile..........kinda like your first girlfriend LMAO!!!!!!!!!!(AND ducking REAL fast)
(Forgive me for taking this thread into another dimension)
I am working to develop a non profit for homeless Viet Nam Vets...and this issue is going to hit them hard too...but most of them are old enough not to give a damn! GOD love em!
Speaking of that non profit gig....I have a chitload of CDs from a Viet Vet buddy of mine,....he is OK with me sending them to you to give away (or sell for YOUR local Teaparty profit) if you are interested....E-mail em your mailing address and I can send them to you for the Sept Sheriff Joe gig, if you want.......
It is my opinion, if Romney is elected, this executive order should be recinded the first day he is president.
It is my opinion, if Romney is elected, all of 0bama's executive orders should be rescinded, and all Czars, ambassadors, cabinet officials, and department heads down to the third level should be terminated immediately.
Then we may have a chance.
5.56mm
Not merely “terminated” but most of them should be prosecuted!
“they are calling EVERYTHING PTSD and it ISNT!”
There appears to be only two mental disorders these days - POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER and BIPOLAR DISORDER.
Everyone seems to want to be Bipolar. We used to call that Manic-Depressive Disorder. I suppose that didn’t sound swell enough so it was changed to Bipolar.
Just as PTSD covers everything and anything now, so does Bipolar - I just shake my head as to what has happened since I retired from that business.
for my tastes you might as well said beet tea,,,,,cause all respects to your son and longevity but............yuck
mmmmmmmmmmmmm taste.............LMAO
We need to meet...with a rhubarb custard pie betwixt us....trust me..YOU would pick the pie after one bite LOL!!!!!
I turned her in....
cool...I could go deep into my recipe book and load a bottle of Coca Cola with roasted peanuts.
country bliss
I take that cfhallange! The pie is wonderful...sweet and tart, sheer perfection.......and especially made for people that like a dish that makes their mouth say “WTF waS that?!
Rhubarb is one of those things that you leasrn about...it is not something everyone eats...lbut it has medicinal and Native American “roots”...and as a kid, I vividly recall my father putting sugar in my hand...pulling a big ass stalk of rhubarb for me...and THAT was my “candy”-—perhaps that is why I love it to this day......
at the orphan’s home the house mom mixed peanut butter with pancake maple syrup on saturdays if’n we’d been good
it was the only sweet thing we got and it was bliss
Thanks for the mail...I will see about sending some CDs :-)
de nada but I haven’t even started to tell ya how much I love okra
OKRA.... An acquired taste...IM guessing you were a nose picker in your youth? LMAO ;-)
I know they all need to go, but I was pushing this one to the front before more military get labeled PTSD. The fact they could not have a gun after that label, would be tragic.
Of course, there are those with PTSD. I did test a military guy and unknown to me, his psychiatrist released him from the hospital and the doctor left town for the weekend. He turned his patients over to a psychologist friend of mine and I told him the guy shouldn't have been let out, he was a powder keg. The next day the military guy holed up in his house and was in a confrontation with the police. Luckily, no one died.
if ya live long enuf, even the
omg finds a place
nose picker.....? that’s funny
why, what’d ya hear
I just ask and PRAY people use some discernment...PTSD is one thing.......the “D” being the importand factor...the “D” means “Disorder”....MOST men and women are suffrering from Post Traumatic STRESS (NOT the “DISORDER”)
The political pukes want EVERYHONE to have the “Disorder” to promote THEIR agenda...and I DAMN those physicians and psychologists that succomb to this HORSECHIT, rather than doing what we were trained to do.......”FIRST DO NO HARM”
MANY men and women warriors have “issues” but to label them all “mental illness” is an insult to our Military and to Americans! And I am tired of this Liberal horsechit! It angers me beyond reason, and I disdain ALL in Washington DC that promote this LIE!
