There is a substantial number of OCONUS contractors that train at YPG’s.

BTW, I was on the USCG Sedge (when it was station there) in Cordova, 1970-72, and I’ve been from Adak to near the Pribilof Islands through the inland passage to BC.

I also spent 2 years in Hawaii serving.

If someone held a gun to my head and told me I had only 2 choices in life, move to Hawaii or to Alaska, I’d have to respond Alaska definitely.

The list of places I’ve been in Alaska along it’s southern coast is too numerous to post.....loved all of it.
