This column just makes clear what we have long suspected and witnessed at the RNC. The GOPe regards the Tea Party as Enemy #1, and the rats a distant second. The Bush/Dole/Bush/McCain establishment types are comfortable "working with" the rats hellbent on destruction of our republic.

Akin is not one of them. Consider the breathtaking fact that they, including Romney, preferred the reelection of Senator McCaskill over the conservative Akin.

Santorum, Cain, or Gingrich were my choice, so I am not a Romney fan.

But currently he is the only presidential candidate we have, so using some people’s reasoning, we should not criticize him, just shut up and support him. Right?

I am not trying to be sarcastic, I just can’t see the difference.
