How important these numbers are depends on how they define “sexual assault,” as a loose definition will result in a much larger total number. Also article doesn’t define if this is active duty only or includes reserves.

FBI statistics for the whole country indicate something around 400,000 sexual assaults and rapes. In a country of 300M.

Unless my math is confused (quite possible) this means these things occur at a rate roughly 10x that in the country (if active duty only) or 5x if reserves are included.

These numbers should take into consideration that the military is largely composed of the age of men most likely to commit such acts. IOW, compared to the rate among young men not in the military.

the new policy of allowing openly serving homosexuals and cross dressers needs to be investigated and obviously with these stats and other problem is have heard then it needs to be done away with.

Homosexual men are attracted to other men and yet we let these predators now share showers, rooms, etc.

What a sick and twisted society some have made us.
