So, I guess Baon employees who support Obama are okay. It’s only those who run against him that he has a problem with.

I know several people who worked for Bain and several who worked for companies acquired by Bain. Those who are acquired always have a sob story about layoffs, lost opportunities, and mercenary Bain management. To that I say, stop crying. If your company wasn’t struggling they wouldn’t have bought you out and leveled the landscape. Build a solid company and Bain won’t swoop in and snag you at a bargain price. Build an unprofitable company with potential and they’ll come in, take over, and put the inefficient legacy employees out of work. Big deal.

I’m sure we’ll hear sob stories about outsourcing jobs and displacing workers; but if those workers added to the bottom line they wouldn’t have been displaced. If you don’t like the Bain business model then you should move to Scandinavia.

Shouldn’t Obama be spending his time pointing out the great successes of his Presidency? Pointing out his successful record and fulfills promises? The fact he spending his convention attacking Romney says it all. He is a FAILED PRESIDENT!

Bain is a good PE company that has done a great job of turning a lot of companies around. Part of the strategy for all PEs is to achieve synergies, which means sometimes doing the things that need to be done, but that the previous owners were afraid or reluctant to do, such as consolidating operations that are running inefficiently, combining sales channels, and taking advantage of low-cost manufacturing locations. ALL companies do the same thing, some are just not as good at it. Bain’s results speak for themselves, and from firsthand experience I can say they are a highly professional and ethical organization.

What Bain does is no different than what Clint Eastwood said needs to be done - when you’re not getting the job done, you have to go. It’s called putting adults in charge of running things.

In any business you will always find disgruntled employees(Thats where the term disgruntled came from) every business you find a few people who were fired or were just not happy for one reason or another. You can always find someone who bad mouths a business. Most people will see that here, no one is going to fall for this crap just like they didnt fall for the guy who said that Romney murdered his wife, its desperation from Dems who know they are going to lose

This could work. Bain Capital is one of Mitt Romney’s weaknesses.

“A knowledgeable source told Fox News that possible speakers could include Steve Pagliuca — managing partner at Bain Capital, considered the unofficial head of the firm. Pagliuca is a co-owner of the Boston Celtics who ran for the Massachusetts Senate seat formerly held by the late Ted Kennedy and lost in the Democratic primary to Martha Coakley in 2010.”

“Another possible speaker is Jon Lavine, an Obama campaign bundler and very senior member of the firm. Matt Levin, also a partner at Bain, is said to be very active in Democratic politics as well and could be included in the program.”

My only question is: if Bain is so evil, why do these Dems still work there?

Will one of them be the top bundler for Obama, who was CEO of Bain when all those GST Steel layoffs occurred?

Heck. I’d testify against the company that laid me off, not the one that took it over a few months later. (The layoff was done solely to increase the value of the place.)

I love that they’re focused on Romney. Hope the entire convention is about him.

This is about providing meat to the ravenous media. Nothing more. The DNC knows (and likely will arrange a priori) that the media will run hard with the stories of Bain discontent and Romney-is-bad-ism’s from the leftist Bain-istas. It will be 24 hours of effective negativity, and, yes, Romney-Ryan better be ready with a counterattack.
