You could carry guns in National Parks no problem in my day and I did.

Glacier for example.

Strange

did not need open carry permit to wear a pistol out in the woods even if a park

A friend of mine tried firing into the air intermittently when lost. He eventually had to stop because he was running out of arrows.

“unlikely”

Still means bureaucrats could. Would never put it past them. For even the simple revenue they can take in. If they can somehow deprive someone of earnings AND their right to carry to them it’s worth it.

Sorry but 2nd Amendment preceded any “national park” by
at least 45 years [1832]=
ex post facto laws are illegal -
NPS you are SOL.-

It is legal to carry firearms in the park but illegal to discharge them inside the park for any reason, [park spokeswoman Rainey McKenna] said
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
Hmm talk about pandering and trying to please everyone.

‘illegal to discharge ... for any reason’

That is beyond ludicrous, Joseph Heller couldn’t have come up with that one, although Ayn Rand (along the premise that make enough laws and everyone could be a criminal) may and probably did.
