We are not "racist America" despite the efforts of Obama and his henchmen to foment racial discord. We were not hated until Obama was elected, except by those, like the jihadists, whose hatred is an inherent part of their Weltanschauung - we were nonetheless respected.

After three and a half years of his malfeasance in office, we are still hated by the same bad actors, but now are viewed with contempt by them and by many of our putative allies.

The description of the world is used only too loosely. Perhaps Maxine can be given a pass for this usage. The world is a pretty big place. I do remember about ten years ago, a courtly southern Republican gentleman faced off on the television, with a rather fiery woman of colour. It may have even been Maxine. He asked "will the gentle and gracious lady....." etc. This has stuck with me to this day.

They drag themselves across a brutal desert risking their lives to cross into America. They lie and cheat about their possible torture and execution to gain asylum in America. They risk drowning in rotten leaky boats to arrive on America's shores.

From my own native country, England, the grinning sycophants make nice and take home American dollars. Then go back home and bad mouth the country that gave them hospitality.
