Yes it certainly is driving the lefties insane and that
makes it worthwhile. Ponder the left’s phony indignation
with regard to the Tea Party and compare it to their
cheerful support of the shameful antics of the Occupiers.
If some whacko Hollywood libtard celeb did a similar
schtick at the Demo Dorkfest they would be gaga over it.

I watched it “Live” and, like many others, felt uneasy.
Same here. But as it went on, the “Harvey” comparison kicked in (no, I didn’t get it at first) then he goes back to “Dirty Harry”. This struck very hard and deep on the dims. No need for Romney to include it on a compilation that very few will see. It’s viral on its’ own

Make no mistake about it - those who didn’t watch the RNC convention have most assuredly heard about Clint’s speech and empty chair. They will be seeking it out on the internet.
Clint - you sly ole _______ (fill in the blank)

“When I heard him live I thought it was a series of disconnected, confused-sounding ramblings.”
If you remember Jimmy Stewart’s style of speaking in the movie Harvey, when talking to his invisible rabbit friend, then you will understand the hesitating, rambling, somewhat jumbled form of speech Clint Eastwood was using in his sterling piece of performance art. It was masterful. Clint Eastwood is not a rambling old man. He is an intelligent acting genious using his speaking style for this empty chair role as a way of enunciating all the more his zinger lines because on either side of it was the musings and seemingly miscellaneous meanderings so that you didn’t know where the mutterings were going. That is, until, bang, a killer line comes out of the master’s mouth decimating Obama/Biden bigtime. Clint’s style of speaking made the important lines stand out all the more. Bravo, well done Mr. Eastwood. A star performance.

“I just hope Romney doesnt apologize for Clints speech.”
That wouldn’t be prudent.
I know some of us might reconsider our ABO policy. Now, Romney doesn’t want that to happen.
...and I am not joking either!!

Uh... there's dozens of others who didn't appear in the video. So what?

Clint’s performance, in one night, accomplished what the Saturday Night Live, Jon Stewart and other “comedians” spent an entire election season doing to Sarah Palin

I know everyone has been trying very hard to put a positive spin on Clints speech, but to the people who dont read FR, the speech was a disaster. Clint looked and sound like Jim from the tv show Taxi. He ate up time with his disjointed meanderings
And who else do we know who stumbles and meanders when he doesn’t have his teleprompter to use as a crutch?

Eastwood may have been deliberately imitating obamas “uh” and “er” filled speeches.

MONDAY IS EMPTY CHAIR DAY!
That’s what reader Sandy writes: Prof – Seems that there is an
effort to make Monday “empty chair day” Below is an image of my front lawn, just
mowed, to ensure the emptychair looks right. The sign next to the chair says:
“We own this country . . . Politicians are employees of ours . . . And when
somebody does not do the job, we’ve got to let them go.” –Clint Eastwood
Inspired by Clint Eastwood’s unforgettable RNC skit, Twitter users are organizing a nationwide Empty Chair Day
on Monday to pay tribute to the Absentee-In-Chief:

It wasn’t a complicated skit and I really can’t understand anyone not getting it, even those who don’t read FR.
I’ll re-post my take:

I thought it was a fantastic visual.
The empty chair represented to me the fact that
normal-thinking Americans have been ignored
for nearly 4 years.
The empty chair has ignored us regarding
obamacare, illegals, gay marriage, etc.
and all the while telling us to go
_____ ourselves (through surrogates
and in-your-face EOs).
Clint talked back to it and ridiculed it for us.
It was brilliant and I adore him for doing it.

I put an Empty Chair out today, with a sign that has a quote from Clints speech. Then, a few hours later, I looked out and I saw that my neighbor had put a chair out also. During that few hours I was constructing a little Empty Chair out of cardboard and pop-sickle sticks, with its own little sign to take up to my grandfathers grave. Its up there now. Trust me on this - Grampy would have INSISTED that I do it! :)
What a great idea!! Clint's message is out there, and those who missed it will be going to google and typing in "empty chair". Do it and see what comes up!! Empty suit works pretty well too, as shows Obama's face!!!
