Now here's something we wouldn't have expected to read in the NYT's..

In a Post-Convention Bump, Romney Draws Huge Crowds in Cincinnati

...A line of people that stretched for five city blocks awaited Mr. Romney as his motorcade pulled into the Union Terminal. Inside there were so many people that the campaign had to redirect a few hundred of them into a small overflow room, where they crammed in shoulder to shoulder...

...But inside a soaring Art Deco-styled rotunda here, the candidate, joined by Senator Rob Portman and Representative John Boehner, the House speaker, delivered a vigorous and sharply focused speech that sent the audience into ear-splitting roars.

What got into Wallace was Axelrod’s boot. He kicked Chrissy all over the set and Wallace sat there and let him filibuster. When wallace asked a tough question Axelrod changed the subject and gave a speech. Wallace just sat there and allowed it. The Dems all use the same talking points and no one ever refutes them. Example:
1. Obama has had 29 months of job growth. What the Hell? He has been President for 44 months.
2. Romney wants to go back to the policies that got us here-tax cuts for the wealthy...After the Bush tax cuts revenues went up not down.
3. We need to raise the rates on rich people back to where they were under Clinton....OK. Lets raise everyones rates to where they were under Clinton if he was such a genius. And while we are at it let’s reduce spending to Clinton era levels.
4. Bush caused the financial collapse because of two unfunded wars and the Medicare drug benefit....Hey Axelrod we had all those bills to pay when Bush’s last budget deficit with a GOP Congress was $131 Billion. And, oh by the way, we had 9-11 and the resulting recession to deal with. Remember that Axelrod?
5. Obama halted the greatest recession since the Depression....The recession ended of its’ own volition in June 2009; long before any Obama policies had any effect.

If I can do it Wallace why the hell can’t you?

Intresting Gallup poll from July was brought up on Fox this am. They asked if the polled would vote for a Mormon.

10% of R said they would not, 12% of I said they would not, 24% of D said they would not

So much for the D claims of being “open minded” and “tolerant”.

Ok , time to throw Harry Reid out of office , as he too is a Mormon.

...giving tickets away for The One’s speech. They are really concerned about attendance.
A 74000 seat stadium. Talk about hubris and egotism!! Right now the camera crew are planning how they will show/not show the crowds/empty seats.

Breaking!!!!...early pics of the Obama delegates/supporters arriving for early seating. By all indications Obama will blow the capacity crowd away...

Note: none of the supporters were available for comment.

True but Newt set ol' terrible tom II brokechaw back on his heels more than once with his free markets all the time exposing the lefts commie ways over and over.

Eastwood must really poll well. None of the rabid libs have the guts to go diss him after he buried their Dear Leader.

Matthew Dowd on ABC with Clintonista Stuffy Stephy says conventions don't close the deal translation= Mitt will get elected!!!

I think the Romney campaign has got it “going on”, big time. A relative of mine was working a local Repub office in FL during the RNC Convention. Romney/Ryan had an event at a hangar to thank the volunteers before they headed out Friday. She called to say that the excitement and energy is unbelievable. She personally shook hands with both men (& Anne, grandkids!) - she said ‘good grips, look you in the eye’. She also said they make eye contact with people in the crowd when they are speaking and the overall impression is that they are REAL people. She loved Ryan’s energy & enthusiasm, just full of it. The local office, after the event, was mobbed with people wanting stickers and yard signs .... anxious to get out and do some work for the campaign (the office had been fairly busy during the week as well). She is still on ‘Cloud 9’ and very hopeful .... she’s a long time worker in FL, walks the streets in neighborhoods talking to people, etc. so to hear her perspective was very interesting.

Emanuel just told Gregory that crime in Chicago is down! after Gregory cited the 40 shootings last week (or weekend).

Dems really have no relationship with truth-telling at all.

Down from what 100 ?

Just like the 4 million jobs created. Whats the net result of your job creation.

Are you reaching your goal of 6%. That’s the real measuring stick.

Dems like to fool people with “ it improving” by using any change to be a positive instead of realizing its still really bad.

Yep- I live in the Orlando area and am starting to see a lot more Romney bumper stickers. The I-4 corridor is pretty important and I expect we’ll be seeing more of R & R in the coming weeks!

I went up to The Villages a couple of weeks ago to hear Ryan- his sincerity is palpable- he’s very convincing.

Brilliant stuff here. 1. Obama has had 29 months of job growth. What the Hell? He has been President for 44 months.

Exactly, never a mention of the months before,no budget, how obamcare guts medicare, many other things.

2. Romney wants to go back to the policies that got us here-tax cuts for the wealthy...After the Bush tax cuts revenues went up not down.--

Never a documented expose by the left of what is actually wrong with trickle down(nothing!!it works) only that it is perceived to be bad, they couldn't document anything and the DBM lets them get away with it of course. Also, we have not defended trickle down very well either.

3. We need to raise the rates on rich people back to where they were under Clinton....OK. Lets raise everyone's rates to where they were under Clinton if he was such a genius. And while we are at it let’s reduce spending to Clinton era levels.

Class warfare it polls well so they never let up--our side needs to explain how destroying small businesses hurts jobs even better than we already have.

Never a mention of the left's housing debacle where anyone and everyone can buy a house. If anything caused a recession its was the destruction of wealth by the hard left, Barney Frank, Raines, etc., etc.

5. Obama halted the greatest recession since the Depression....The recession ended of its’ own volition in June 2009; long before any Obama policies had any effect.

If I can do it Wallace why the hell can’t you? Great stuff. way to go.

I think you are right on with you list of changes that would improve our current health care system. More than anything, I want to be part of a national dialogue about it...Let’s hope the pubs don’t repeat history.

It's already a bill:

“Rather than granting government more authority in the lives of patients and their doctors, we must seek reforms that empower patients while advancing the principles of accessibility, affordability, and quality of care. The Empowering Patients First Act would provide the opportunity for all Americans to have health coverage, solve the insurance challenges of portability of health insurance and pre-existing illnesses and injuries, end the practice of defensive medicine with robust lawsuit abuse reform, all without putting the government in charge!

‪“Where ObamaCare believes in government, the Empowering Patients First Act believes in patients and their doctors. It ensures that individuals maintain control of their health care decisions. Patient-centered, positive solutions are at the core of moving our nation in the right direction. This bill does just that.”

In today’s email. Here is how Capitalism works:

“Dear Sir/ Madam,
Firstly I will introduce our company to you. Our company is a large scale import and export trading company in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The Chinese government, together with the travel companies invests 30 million US dollars to build a One-stop service of resorts which covers an areas of 18700 acres . There are golf course and race course in it. In order to build the resort, we want to order 120 sets of log cabins in urgent. The time limit for this project is 18 months. Please see our attached files. If you have some good plans, please let us know. If you can meet our demands, please contact us ASAP and let us have a FOB quotation.”

Too bad America didn’t allow this type of development. May be time to check out a country who is moving towards Capitalism rather than away from it.

I believe you are right. Romney will be more open to conservative ideas as conservatives hold him to campaign promises and positions.

Speaking of Chik-Fil-A....

Clint Eastwood has a new movie coming out called Trouble With the Curve on the 21st. Now the Leftists are calling for a boycott of this movie, just because Clint isn't towing the Left-wing, Hollyweird Obama-worship line. I mean imagine that! A movie star sticking his nose into politics!!!!!

So let's Chik-Fil-A it! What I'm proposing is that all those good people who went to Chik-Fil-A on August 1st in order to show the Left that they, not them, were the MAJORITY; go to the theater on Clint's opening night.

Are you with me? I told my wife we're going. We haven't gone to a non-Kid movie in ten years. She's excited!

None of which should be attributed to his policies.

I’m going to see the “2016” movie tomorrow.

I figger all the tourists going to be at the beach on Labor Day. They finally scheduled it in our local yokel metroplex as the one theater in Dover was packed bejeesus.

I’ll write a review on it on FR’s Blogger pages. Then self-righteous Freeper Humblegunner can get on and act all snarky. Also self-appointed, lacking any kind of meaningful life.

But keep eyes peeled cause I’m going to the movies all by myself.

In the entirety of my 62 years I have never done that.
