That song was the first thing that came to my mind when I read this story:

“The wise man built his house upon the rock (3x)
and the rain came tumbling down.

“The rain came down and the flood came up (3x)
and the house on the sand stood firm

“The foolish man built his house upon the sand (3x)
and the rain came tumbling down.

“The rain came down and the flood came up (3x)
and the house on the sand went ‘whoosh’”

The song.... back from when most people in America used to faithfully attend Sunday School AND church on Sunday morning, and evening services on Sunday night along with midweek Bible study & prayer meeting. Now it is pretty much just King James only, fundamental, conservative, Bible-believing, preaching, Baptist churches that still conduct services this way.

The mega churches have long ago turned the idea of "church" into just a giant entertainment center & social gathering. And the liberal, unsaved churches are just dying out due to dull, meaningless, empty minded homilies on Bible stories that they openly mock & disbelieve.

Anyway... here is a great youtube version of the song.
