FORT LEE, N.J. (AP) — Police say a 16-year-old New Jersey boy was killed after he put his head out of an emergency hatch of a double-decker bus and his head hit the underside of an Interstate 95 overpass.

The bus company was supposed to have 2, one on the upper level and one on the lower, but on that trip, they only had one and when he went down to the lower level the boy stuck his head out of the hatch and was killed. It also turns out that the bus was illegal to operate in NJ where the accident happened, it needed a special permit because the size of the bus exceeded state standards, it was too high.

How does a group on a bus go from Fort Lee NJ, to party in Garfield NJ (west of Fort Lee), by way of GWBridge which heads east into NY? am I reading info wrong? Or were parents misinformed about where party was? >>>
The group went to a Catholic High School in Queens, NY, so I guess the rented a bus from that area, BTW the bus was illegal to operate in NJ because of its large size. If they were going to Garfield, I wonder if they went to The Venetian, it’s a catering hall for the well-to-do.
He, very much an EX-dem, thank you very much. (Yeah, I wish I had thought about my handle a bit more, in retrospect). I will be voting against Obama and for Ryan in November. As for Romney, I’m giving him a chance, but it’s more about getting Obama out than him in at this point.
