Correspondent Jessica Yellin (CNN) - An hour after Mitt Romney stepped off of his party's convention stage, crowned as the Republican presidential nominee, organizers of the Democratic convention announced several speakers who will appear onstage in Charlotte, North Carolina next week.
The partial lineup released Friday highlights Democratic women, Latinos, African-Americans, and congressional leaders.
The convention speaker list includes Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts; Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley; Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, the former White House Chief of Staff; and former Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, who is running for a U.S. Senate seat.

On Sunday, Maryland’s Democratic Governor Martin O’Malley accused Romney of race baiting during an interview on State of the Union (CNN) when asked if “Mitt Romney was trying to appeal to white voters” :
“When you have a party that says coded things, that makes totally false ads up, falsely saying the president is trying to undo welfare reform, I think you’re going to see a lot of heavily and not-so-subtly coded messages from the Romney-Ryan campaign.”
What a bunch of losers, all. They are angry people, and not inspiring at all, IMHO.
I am predicting that their commentaries will all be on the angry side and will leave the listener feeling even more like a victim of America rather than being appreciative of their citizenship in the greatest country on earth.
I doubt God’d name will be mentioned in any sort of dignified and sincere way at all.
It will be really interesting to see the final benediction prayer by Cardinal Dolan. Will the audience of LGBT delegates sit down, will they turn away, will they yell and scream? That will be a riveting sight to behold.
I hope Dolan brings lots of holy water to exorcize the convention center after the event closes.
You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.
