That was rather embarrassing. Clint *was* a good actor but his politics have always been a bit squishy and he just seemed to be taking up valuable speaking time. Was anyone really moved by this rambling hem-haw of a alzheimer moment?
I’d bet Sarah Palin would have energized the crowd twice as well and got off more zingers.
Entire MSNBC crew is ridiculing Eastwood as being senile. They aren’t talking about Romney’s speech, just Eastwood’s.
No, I'm not star-struck over Eastwood as some on this thread seem to be, and I thought his rambling talk was a snoozer.
I think that’s a cheap insult.
Clint is liked by a great number of people for his performances and his personality.
It looked to me like a planned but mostly ad libbed performance. It was quite short and charming and full of personality.
Yes he is getting old, but making fun of that is not going to make points for anyone with others who have a greater sense of respect and decency.
Your comments are pretty despicable.
Eastwood's performance was simply over your head. There should have been another empty chair next to him for you.
Perhaps one day, if you eat all of your peas and pick up your toys, someone will explain the nuance of his delivery to you.
