Entire MSNBC crew is ridiculing Eastwood as being senile. They aren’t talking about Romney’s speech, just Eastwood’s.
He got one thing right, WE OWN THIS COUNTRY. Politicians work for us ! Some of them need to be reminded of who is the boss around here. We did build this !
I certainly believe in the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I am against killing babies, and consider the fact that we allow those who make their business that killing to run loose a sign that we have entirely too many uncivilized people around in this country.

No, I'm not star-struck over Eastwood as some on this thread seem to be, and I thought his rambling talk was a snoozer.
Thats because they know Obama is going to get his clock cleaned in the debates ! Good Ole Joe Biden too.
Finally we have some adults in charge.
My wife and I were traveling across Texas, listening to convention coverage on the radio. I don’t know how it looked on tv, but if.came across great on the radio. The cheering during Eastwood’s skit was great. We were both laughing and cheering! Bravo Clint. Romney’s speech was solid and served him well. It should help convince the right and reach the undecideds. Obama better have more than blame next week.

Honest to goodness I was laughing so hard I had tears flowing.....I was not holding out much hope for this speech and then when Clint got wound up it was absolutely perfect.....I loved the empty chair! This little stunt hit the ball out of the park......

Clint ad libbed the whole thing...unlike pResident teleprompter.

Clint is liked by a great number of people for his performances and his personality.
It looked to me like a planned but mostly ad libbed performance. It was quite short and charming and full of personality.
Yes he is getting old, but making fun of that is not going to make points for anyone with others who have a greater sense of respect and decency.
BO is going to have a soaring speech about how he came from a broken home, blah blah blah and became president and will connect with alot of divorced people out there. My divorced conservative friend was a little turned off by all the family, two parent parts.
