He was in the consulting business, where having passed the bar was a resume enhancer.
Consultants apply for engagements, and their resumes are submitted.
I believe he started for McKinsey, which is a top flight consulting firm. His company probably told him to do it.
And having taken the courses, earned the degree, it is natural followup to do the bar.
But he did not become a lawyer, he became a consultant, later a venture capitalist.
Do you understand? His career is in business, not arguing cases in court.
Who the heck cares what Al the “race-baiter” Sharpton has to say? Most “THINKING” folks completely have this fraud’s number.

I think the humor was in reference to Biden’s “this is a big F’in deal” comment. It was classy.. it calls them out on their crap.
I was lovin’ Clint. He could care a good spit what his detractors have to say. It has taken years of work for Hollyweirds to even come close to honoring him. I’m sure he could care less about what any one his detractor’s think about his speech, his life, his work or his future. He reminds me of my Dad.... God rest his soul...stubborn Missouri mule.
Getting a law degree, passing the bar, and getting a license to practice law, means that he was a lawyer, you cannot deny that he is a trained lawyer.
People should know that about him, they don’t care if he practiced or not, Hillary barely practiced, I don’t know if Bill practiced much, or Obama, or others who are lawyers to us.
Your take on Clint Eastwood is correct. He may not be that crazy over Romney, but.....he very much dislikes Obama and sees him, correctly, as a true enemy of the American state. He is basically saying Obama is anti-American from head to toe, is harmful to freedom, liberty, opportunity, etc. and needs to fired by the American people, right now!!!
The added lack of “Hollywood” liberal attendance next week at the DNC speaks volumes about Obama’s upcoming massive political defeat!!! Add to that, Hillary Clinton and tons of Democrat candidates running for office or re-election not attending the DNC and you get the true picture that Obama is toast, come November 6, 2012.

On television, in advertisements, and from our friends, we often hear reference to “lawyers” and “attorneys.” Despite the ease of categorizing these two words as synonyms, they do in fact mean different things. The difference is only slight, but it matters a great deal to state bar associations, particularly in the investigation and prosecution of unauthorized practice of law cases. However, practically speaking, the terms have become interchangeable in the United States.
A lawyer is simply one who is trained in the law. They may or may not provide legal guidance to another. Thus, anyone who has attended law school in the United States can consider themselves a lawyer. However, until they pass the bar exam in the jurisdiction in which they intend to work, the method by which they use their lawyering skills is limited. For example, a policy advisor or consultant to the government, who attended law school, is technically a lawyer and may offer his skills in the course of his work, but he must not cross the fine line into providing legal representation.
An attorney or attorney at law is also a lawyer. They have attended law school and presumably “practice” the study of law as a career. However, attorneys by definition have passed a bar examination and have been admitted to practice law in the particular jurisdiction. They may go beyond the realm of lawyer and provide legal representation to an individual. The relationship is more than merely providing the factual state of the law and delves into providing strategy for the client’s needs in reference to the law. An attorney can also appear in court and other settings on behalf of a client. An attorney is also a lawyer, but a lawyer may not necessarily be an attorney.

Though technical differences exist, practically speaking, only a lawyer would know the difference between lawyer, attorney, barrister, solicitor, or the limits on using esquire. The general public can probably rest easy in a world of synonym, as long as they ensure the lawyer handling the case is also an attorney.

Agree with what he says, but heis an irritating speaker, repeating words phrases, poor speaker, takes too long to get to the point. “You know,You know” many times. It was a dumb idea to have him speak. Mia Love was much better speaker., Artur Davis much better. Give Eastwood a script
and a part in a movie, not s podium to give speech.
Taking his age into consideration is important. Something you’ll no doubt take into consideration in a few decades.

I am much older than he is and I frequently speak before groups, and I concentrate on speaking succintly and keeping my remarks short and to the point. Clint Eastwood could do it too.
