I disagree, if you thought Clint’s appearance was not good, then you were not paying attention to his message. Just like many folks who only see whats on the surface, just like folks who turn their nose up at someone less fortunate, or less attractive.
Although he wasnt fluent and mistake free and at time ethe speech was awkward and stuttering, he defined a couple of important talking points.
1) Empty seat, nuff said.
2) Many libs look up to Hollow wood and having someone with giant influence say...”well...what the hell, try the next guy, the current guy sucks”...that’s actually a big endorsement.
3) Make fun of Clint Eastwood? really? and the aged? and Alzheimers? really...go ahead. light that fuse. I dare ya.
4) Making fun of BHO and Biden is actually pretty fun, go ahead, try it. It doesnt hurt, you wont get struck by lightning and it feels sorta good. ps they deserve it.
Those are not insignificant concepts in this election.

So we ought to only allow the smooth-talking, MSNBC-approved people speak to us? I personally enjoyed Clint's speech. Unlike Obama, Clint is REAL and a REAL MAN and that matters to regular people like me.
By all means, let the idiots at the DNC and its media arms ridicule Clint Eastwood. I'm sure that's going to go over really well outside of the liberal bastions.
Yeah, I'm not sure that Clint Eastwood ad lib schtick worked out the way it was intended to.
I think it would have been more effective if he had put together a video to air at the convention. Like his "Halftime in America" Super Bowl commercial.
Then maybe just stood up in the crowd somewhere and waved to everyone after the video was over...
I thought Eastwood was charming and brilliant. There were a lot of zingers and subtle comments in his speech that were truly funny.
No teleprompter, no notes and funny as heck! And he is right..these politicians work for us.

I had a long day today so I had to listen to Eastwood, Rubio and Romney on the radio. The station had abc snooze doing the broadcast. Eastwood made Little Sammy Donaldson’s head explode like a cheap Muzzie suicide vest.
He passed the bar exam and was admitted to the Michigan bar. Only lawyers are admitted to the bar, so someone who is admitted to the bar is a lawyer.
Clint delivered! I had first listened to this performance on AM radio, then watched the video. Empty chair (Obama’s new nick name), as depicted by Clint. IMHO is representative of the current administration. Obama has spent more time begging for donations than he spent golfing....no..45% golfing, 45% begging for money & 10% hobnobbing.
The media is all lathered up because it’s unusual for their icon to be made fun of. That is the true issue going on. They ignore Rubio, they aren’t really discussing Romney - they are all laser focused on Clint because he dared make fun of Obama and that’s racist in their eyes.
Fun to watch. They will overreach trying to tear up an American Icon. As always, they overreach.
I think Romney is a lawyer. I’m sure the libs will jump on it. Still, I enjoyed the speech. Eastwood was just making laughs over someone who can’t take joke.
