Spencer Zwick, one of Romney's top fundraisers, said the event was not to raise money, but simply to thank donors. If there was no fundraising going on, what campaign finance laws were broken?

"I think it's ironic they do this aboard a yacht that doesn't even pay its taxes," said a woman who lives aboard a much smaller boat moored at the St. Petersburg Municipal Marina.

Does Romney have a U.S. birth cirtificate? Has he, or will he, release his college records?
As a “US Citizen” did he ever eat dog? I don’t know many US Citizens who have eaten a dog as a regular part of a meal?

Could be. The CI flag is blue, but apparently there is one version of the flag that’s red. Looks exactly like Bermudo from a distance.
I still don’t care where Mr. Romney’s friends registers their yachts. If I was ever in a financial position to buy a yacht I’d register it someplace else, too.

Who cares? Kerry owns a yacht, and what flag does he fly on it?

The greatest thing about the new FR is that I no longer have to go over to the DUmp to see what the leftists are thinking.
All the articles they cite get posted here as well and contain virtually identical commentary.

Did Lurch ever pay the taxes due on his to the state of MA?As of 7/27/12 NO.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/07/27/kerry-agrees-pay-massachusetts-tax-yacht-docked-rhode-island/
MA has some funky rules about the sales tax and the annual asset\exise tax. If the boat is in MA waters for more than 60 consecutive days, it pays the tax. A lot of MA boat owners head to an anchorage in Maine or RI for a night about every 7 weeks to avoid that tax.

Ya can see the CI Naval flag
here.
As for the registration of a yacht in CI. That's on him, if I owned a vessel like that, I would register it here and fly the American flag proudly.

Lady, it’s no news to us you’ll do anything, say anything, to tear down the one candidate who has any realistic chance of beating Obama. Therefore, you are an Obama troll. Pure and simple.

Their own story says the yacht, the Cracker Bay, was owned by a Florida developer. Duh?

"I think it's ironic they do this aboard a yacht that doesn't even pay its taxes," said a woman who lives aboard a much smaller boat moored at the St. Petersburg Municipal Marina. Romney's Cayman-based investments have come under fire during the campaign. The event, attended by no more than 50 people, along with Romney relatives, including older brother Scott, appeared on no public calendars. ABC News obtained a schedule of the Romney campaign's "Victory Council" and waited dockside to speak with members.
Oh, that does it...I'm jealous...I'll be voting ZERO (I'm jealous that I have only a 24 foot...;-) ).
A boat does not pay taxes, the boat owners do... (most yachts are owned by corporations, NOT INDIVIDUALS!!)

It;s the foreign donor who is illegally giving him money to betray our country. You are 100% right. That's a lie. It's already been debunked, especially upthread from your post. The owners are AMERICAN. But then, it's obvious you won't let a fact get in the way of a good lie.

Many large yachts are foreign registered. Why? To bypass US Coast Guard safety inspections which are as ridiculous as the government itself."BINGO Buckaroo"
This is from Wiki: The modern practice of flagging ships in foreign countries began in the 1920s in the United States, when shipowners frustrated by increased regulations and rising labor costs began to register their ships to Panama. The use of open registries steadily increased, and in 1968, Liberia grew to surpass the United Kingdom as the world's largest shipping register. As of 2009, more than half of the worlds merchant ships were registered with open registries, and the Panama, Liberia, and Marshall Islands flags accounted for almost 40% of the entire world fleet, in terms of deadweight tonnage.
