Video shows LAPD officers bodyslamming woman onto pavement

A shocking video shows the moment two Los Angeles Police Department officers apparently grabbed a female motorist and bodyslammed her twice to the ground in a parking lot.

Michelle Jordan, a 34-year-old mother and registered nurse, sustained horrific bruising and cuts in the attack, which took place after she was pulled over for talking on her mobile phone. The brutal arrest was captured by a surveillance camera after the officers followed her car into a Del Taco restaurant parking lot in the Tujunga area on August 11.

Officials told the Los Angeles Times that Jordan had ignored the officers' orders to stay in her car and began arguing with them.

On the video, obtained by NBC4, she is seen getting out of the car before she is knocked to the ground by one of the officers...

Later, when in cuffs, she started struggling again as they were placing her in the cop car and it all went to the ground again, the cop too.

And the two big law enforcement officers had no choice but to throw her to the pavement, face first while she was handcuffed...I hope the government unionized LEOs were not injured by this lunatic "Bitch" as you put it.

As a staunch conservative, born and raised in los angeles, and recently escaped to a free state, i can honestly say, the LAPD is as bad, or worse than the thugs they rarely police. Bunch of cowards who won't mess with gangsters, out of fear, but pick on kids, women, and people texting on their phones. This is just another story of the LAPD’s every day events. They are corrupt and wicked beyond repair. They should be disbanded and replaced. LAPD is LA’s biggest problem, even worse than the gangs that rule their hoods. There are the bloods, the crips, the mexican gangs, and the LAPD. None are more moral than the other, the taxpayers just sign one of the groups’ paycheck.

LAPD should be disbanded. They are NO better than the thugs and gangsters they pretend to police. This is ridiculous. As someone who grew up, and spent my life in los angeles, and recently fled to a free state, I can now safely say the LAPD is no better than any gangster in the neighborhood they supposedly defend. They are as crooked as any blood or crip. They just get a regular paycheck to do as much, as well as a taxpayer funded car and a gun. The biggest bullies of the LA ghetto end up joining the LAPD, they are not moral, or led to serve. They are bullies and crooks. I have never been arrested, never had a bad experience with local police in Idaho. But, i grew up knowing, the LAPD is the ONE group that can brutalize you, then make you disappear, just cause they are in a bad mood. They are no heroes, they ARE the problem.

so the cops were protecting themselves from an unarmed female? what was she going to do? pull their hair? scratch their eyes out?

do you lick everyones boots? or just cops who assault people?

The next time the cops pull you over, get out of your car and rush them while yelling, then see what happens.

Well they sure showed her. After handcuffed she was thrown head first into the pavement. That can easily kill someone.

Tell me, what kind of threat to the officers was this unarmed female, who was already handcuffed behind her back?

The videotaped confrontation between two Los Angeles Police Department officers and a woman was disturbing and will be fully investigated, Police Chief Charlie Beck said.

“I have serious concerns about this incident," Beck said.
