A shocking video shows the moment two Los Angeles Police Department officers apparently grabbed a female motorist and bodyslammed her twice to the ground in a parking lot.
Michelle Jordan, a 34-year-old mother and registered nurse, sustained horrific bruising and cuts in the attack, which took place after she was pulled over for talking on her mobile phone. The brutal arrest was captured by a surveillance camera after the officers followed her car into a Del Taco restaurant parking lot in the Tujunga area on August 11.
Officials told the Los Angeles Times that Jordan had ignored the officers' orders to stay in her car and began arguing with them.
On the video, obtained by NBC4, she is seen getting out of the car before she is knocked to the ground by one of the officers...

Shocking video 'shows LAPD officers bodyslamming woman onto pavement after she was pulled over for talking on her cell phone'
Not sure what being a registered nurse has to do with it.
Those cops are in deep kimshi.
The local news featured this on last nights news cast.
She is in really bad shape.
The video is amazing, they just beat the crap outa her, and that “high five” after they throw her in the back of their car.
Truly disgusting treatment.
“Officials told the Los Angeles Times that Jordan had ignored the officers’ orders to stay in her car...”
Told to stay in her car, she instead gets out of her vehicle — and the cops do not know what to expect, so they go on the offensive and throw her to the ground.
I don’t feel sorry for her; she behaved stupidly.
She's lucky they didn't shoot her. Not only did she fail to heed a lawful order of the King's officers, she showed blatant disrespect by arguing with them. Her cell phone might have been a disguised firearm.
Furthermore, she is plainly a member of an inferior race. < / sarcasm >
They restrained her, put her in handcuffs. Then prior to putting her into the police car, slammed her into the pavement.
End of the story. Cops have to deal with human debris all the time while putting their lives on the line. They have little patience for people disobeying express orders.
..and by the way, shouldn’t this put to rest the accusation that cops are “rayciss” ? Of course it won’t.
F these animals. Body slamming a 5’4” woman is such a manly thing to do, even slamming her the 2nd time while handcuffed.. yea real classy. I don’t give a crap if she got out of her car, there’s no need to gorilla stomp someone into the ground and then high-five about it. I hope she gets paid big time for this brutality.
She deserved to be arrested and, perhaps, the first throw to the ground for the cuffs might have been required. It was a little harsh but nothing a warning wouldn’t have been enough for.
The second time, after she was handcuffed and probably said something the cops took offense to, was completely unjustified. He body slammed her while handcuffed face first into the pavement while on top of her, that should cost him his job as a minimum IMNSHO.
I haven’t seen the video but it doesn’t matter. You can’t hear what she is saying to the cops.
LAPD cops have it tough. We had a family friend who worked for LAPD, and another who worked for the Sheriffs office. (This was back in the early 1960s). Both men said that every day they went to work could be their last day alive.
“Not sure what being a registered nurse has to do with it.”
Perhaps an emergency call on her cell phone about a patient in dire need? Needs to get to the emergency room ASAP?
I'm OK with the cops actions up until the last phrase. There's no excuse for body slamming a female who is already restrained on to the pavement.
My daughter worked in a juvenile detention facility with kids already convicted of crimes. She would have been fired on the spot for acting in this manner.
Odd world view.
You dis any gang member you are likely to get smacked down.
The next time the cops pull you over, get out of your car and rush them while yelling, then see what happens.
I guarantee you won’t like it but the cops are protecting themselves.
First, she isn’t black and their union isn’t Republican, therefore no need for DOJ interest.
Second, it looks like she got a free lesson in anger management. When we abdicate personal responsibility and require the police to solve all our problems it’s hard for them not to see themselves as society’s problem solvers.
Maybe we should look at what powers we choose to give the police in controlling our lives.
I edited that for you.
I have seen videos online of swarms of officers approaching someone. One hollers, "GET ON THE GROUND!" One of the other officers hollers, "GET YOUR HANDS ON THE CAR!"
What is one supposed to do?
