Looks as if PPP a Democrat Polling firm has confirmed the FRC poll of just 2 days ago showing Akin surging back on McCaskill.
Looks as if the reports of the (political) death of Akin were a tad premature.
Like a Mr Smith Goes to the Senate.
“Looks like PPP is retty close to an accurate sample.”
Those averages look good.
I hope Romney runs as hard against Obama as he did Akin and Newt
Yes I should be taken to the woodshed. Sorry to everyone for spreading what turned out to be an urban legend.
And I should add that I am very glad the story turns out to have been a hoax.
I hope you got all the splinters out.
Sorry to everyone, and to all Republicans in Missouri. I deserve to be “taken to the woodshed” for passing along an urban legend, and am terribly embarrassed for the lapse.
You are forgiven..... NOW let US all join and send Claire back to her nursing home empire... she has 'pills instead of procedures' to hand out to her residents.
Ditto #88 above. Join us in sending Claireair.com back to her hubby and the hell out of Washington. DC.
Yup, and if the establishment can get enough people repeating it, it will be true, just like they managed to convince everyone that Palin said she could see russia.
No problemo.............Now, I just got this e-mail from a friend of a friend of someone who knows........
It’s all good, dangus, not to worry ^^
I see where it is being reported that Rick Tyler, the former campaign manager of Newt Gingrich, is now working with the Akin campaign. And a new Akin commercial has hit the airwaves thankfully replacing the apologetic one.
Here are the five polls of record on the matter to date:
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/2011/PPP_Release_MO_8201.pdf
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/2011/PPP_Release_MO_830925.pdf
and the one statement that all seem to agree upon:
“There’s clearly a disconnect on Akin’s candidacy between GOP leaders in Washington DC and actual GOP voters back in Missouri.”
If he wins this thing, he’ll be a force to be reckoned with in the Senate. They can’t intimidate him by threatening to withhold campaign funds.......
From the Atlantic:
"Rove is giving more of a shove. Right over a cliff. Bloomberg Businessweek's Sheelah Kolhatkar reports that a breakfast with Republican donors on in Tampa Thursday, Rove joked, "We should sink Todd Akin. "

I think a few of Rove's officer post here too.
That thread was pulled but this one is still running:

A Mod deleted the last article, but here’s another article about the same subject.
