Looks as if PPP a Democrat Polling firm has confirmed the FRC poll of just 2 days ago showing Akin surging back on McCaskill.
Looks as if the reports of the (political) death of Akin were a tad premature.
The Libs are holding their fire until September 25th deadline to drop out, when they will then lower the boom and shout “SUCKERS!!!”
If the Democrats and their MSM brethern stop talking about Akin then I’ll look at that as confirmation of a resurgent Akin.
Is this case similar to Carbonite now begging to go back on Rush’s show?
LOL, into conspiracy theory much?
That’s a good point.
Haha. I was one of the many who thought Akin was dead in the water, but maybe we all underestimated Missouri’s awareness of how terrible McRaskill is. Imagine if he won! The libs would go into cardiac arrest!
If the PPP (Daily KOS) a Democrat Poll has Akin even than I maybe incorrect in my assessment of Akin and him losing this seat.
Still I want to see more of the same, but I will eat crow and humble pie and admit that this is good news.
Still do not think he is going to get GOP money based on this one poll.
Link is for two week old poll. Here is Correct link to current poll numbers:
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/2011/PPP_Release_MO_830925.pdf
Did he say that? Man, I believe politicians probably should avoid discussing lesbians drinking semen. Maybe he had an internal poll indicating it was a hot issue in Mo.
WTF? That has to be a joke...link?
The internals show:
D= 30%
R= 39%
I=32%
Rep +9
Think the real point is they hate McKaskill and know she’s a liberal idiot. Plus Akin’s statement was stupid but really did no harm to anyone.
Citation for that bizarre comment please. Or was it reported on the Internet?
Somewhere Reince Priebus is going “Oh crap.”
I just looked at the PPP poll Roger Hedgecock referred to in his source...
See that PPP Poll he referred to here:
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2012/08/akin-44-mccaskill-43.html
It says at the very top, the date of the poll — AUGUST 20,2012.
Rasmussen had a latter poll (dated 8/23) that showed Akin down by 10.
see here: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0812/80043.html
However the most recent poll commissioned by the FRC had Akin up by 3.
