Lawyer for Corrie Family in July: Nazi Germany’s Founding was Legal but Israel’s Founding was Theft

Yesterday, an Israeli court ruled that Rachel Corrie’s death was a “regrettable accident,” but that Rachel Corrie “chose to put herself in danger.” Rachel Corrie was killed when she was run over by an Israeli army bulldozer in Gaza, at a time when Israel was working to curb terrorist activity in the area. Corrie’s family sued Israel for “wrongful death.” The New York Times reported that the family’s Israeli Arab lawyer, Hussein Abu Hussein, said in a statement to the press; “It’s a black day for activists of human rights and people who believe in values of dignity. We believe this decision is a bad decision for all of us – civilians first of all, and peace activists.”

Our organization, Palestinian Media Watch released a video of a statement made by the Israeli Arab lawyer last month that illustrates his attitudes towards Israel in general.

In a Palestinian Authority TV interview, Abu Hussein said Israel’s founding was worse than the founding of Nazi Germany because “Nazi Germany was a state based on the rule of law for a short while,”whereas “the State of Israel was founded from the start on robbery and theft.” He also called Israel a “giant monster” and indicated that people should take action against Israel: “We all want to step on its head, but talking is not enough. Everyone has their role.”

Below is the transcript of Abu Hussein’s interview on PA TV, July 2, 2012, with Israeli Arab actor, Mohammad Bakri, who hosts the weekly PA TV show: Hussein Abu Hussein, Israeli Arab lawyer: “Nazi Germany was a state based on the rule of law for a short while and it found refuge in the law. [However,] the State of Israel was founded from the start on robbery and theft of a nation’s homeland. Actually, the correct and true legal definition of what happened to the Palestinians is homeland theft… We suffer from a great injustice from the giant monster. This monster attacks us daily and bites into our flesh in the Negev, the Galilee, the Triangle [region in Israel], Jerusalem, and the occupied territories, the West Bank and Gaza. Every day it bites into our body.”

Rachel Tamari, 65, murdered by a Palestinian bomb on the Dan #20 bus in Ramat Gan, on July 24, 1995. 6 Israelis died in that attack, and dozens were wounded.

Rachel Drouk, 35, mother of 7 from the Shilo community was murdered by Palestinian terrorist gunfire while on her way to a demonstration (October 28, 1991) — that negotiating with Palestinian terrorists would be dangerous to Israel. The driver of her car, Yitzchak Rofeh was also killed and 5 others wounded.

Rachel Weiss, 26, pregnant and mother of 3 small children (Rafael, Netanel and Efraim), were all murdered by Palestinian terrorists who threw a molotov cocktail at her car in the Jordan Valley (October 31, 1988)

Rachel Weiss, 69, stabbed to death by Palestinian terrorists who were sent by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin to as an “entrance test” to the Hamas organizations. She was murdered in her home in Moshav Shapir, August 3rd, 1988.

Rachel Munk, 24, [married 6 weeks earlier] was murdered in a drive-by terror attack by on July 26, 1996, along with her husband Zeev Munk. The attack took place on the Beit Shemesh - Kiryat Melachi road near Moshav Gefen.

Rachel Stern, 8 years old, stabbed to death, along with her mother, while eating breakfast in their home in Kiryat Shmona, on April 11, 1974. 16 people were murdered that day by Palestinian terrorists in that attack.

Rachel Afita, 16, murdered by Palestinian terrorists in the Northern Israeli community of Maalot on May 15, 1974

Rachel Lev, 50, murdered by Palestinian terrorists when 5 bombs exploded throughout the Haifa area on October 23, 1969 and the following day. 7 people were killed in the attack, including her husband Eliyahu and son Avraham.

Rachel Mizrachi, 38, stabbed to death by Arab terrorists in her home in Tiberias, October 2, 1939.

You are repeating the fallacy. Hindenburg's appointment of Hitler was supposed to have been legitimated by the plurality representation of the NSDAP in the Reichstag. This supposed representation in the Reichstag was obtained in substantial extent by various methods of vote fraud even to the point of murder, assassination, paramilitary warfare. and the coup overthrowing the Prussian government. To make a long and complex history short, these illegitimate methods led up to Hindenburg's appointment of Hitler to a position which still retained at least some limitations in authority, which were subsequently overthrown by the illegitimate Enabling Act. When the Reichstag refused to authorize the overthrow of the constitutional government, the NSDAP resorted to open violence and assassination inside and outside the Reichstag and its lawful delegates. The subsequent vote was illegal, so the establishment of the NAZI regime by way of the Enabling Act was also blatantly a blatantly illegal coup.
