Exclusive: Jack Cashill points out BHO has yet to hear 'Moscow screams'
There is one experience which most sincere ex-Communists share, wrote Whittaker Chambers in his classic conversion narrative Witness, and that is the epiphany, the road-to-Damascus moment, the instant they realize the life they have been living is a lie.
Chambers memorably quotes one young woman about her fathers Damascus moment: He was immensely pro-Soviet and then you will laugh at me but you must not laugh at my father and then one night in Moscow he heard screams. Thats all. Simply one night he heard screams.
Barack Obama has never heard those screams. He has written two books or at least put his name on two books and not hinted that he ever had anything like a Damascus moment.
His anti-Americanism runs too deep. When in Indonesia his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, asked his mom to meet some of her own people at the American oil company where he worked, she shouted at him, They are not my people.
In the midst of all these ugly Americans, Ann remained, in Obamas words, a lonely witness for secular humanism, a soldier for New Deal, Peace Corps, position-paper liberalism.
As a boy, Obama learned that perhaps the only thing exceptional about America was Barack Hussein Obama. Back in Hawaii, his communist mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, reinforced his moms ugly-American riff, and Obama soaked it in.
In his 1995 memoir, Dreams from My Father, he describes the Americanization of Hawaii as an ugly conquest. Missionaries brought crippling diseases. American companies carved up the rich volcanic soil and worked their indentured laborers of color from sunup to sunset.
During World War II, of course, the government interned Hawaiis Japanese-Americans.
In Obamas account, as in

Cashill:
“Obama unwittingly gives the game away in his 2006 book, ‘Audacity of Hope.’ When scolding his fellow liberals for not facing up to current international threats, he writes, ‘Its useful to remind ourselves that Osama bin Laden is not Ho Chi Minh.’
Yeah, maybe.
Defeating 0bama is not about flinging labels or trying to make a label like “socialist” or “marxist” stick. There is no way to measure the “uptake” of such an effort. The 50% who like 0bama don’t care about that, don’t understand what it is, and aren’t about to give any credibility to something said by anyone who wants to take their amnesty or their gov’t check away.
It’s about showing and repeating what a crappy job he has done and what a horrific reality he’s guaranteed to inflict upon the US and all of our futures if he’s re-elected.
I noticed that too.
BTW, are you also watching Paul Ryan’s speech on CSPAN.
Yes, I agree. I’m sure Obama, Ayers, etc consider marxist a badge of honor. Many more are clueless.
You are correct. The airheads lack sufficient depth and awareness to understand the folly of socialism, but the can see the results. They are living them.
Compared to Osama, Zero's Uncle Ho was just a guy who wanted to sit down with Landslide Lyndon for a Beer Summit to talk over the future of the greater east Asia co-prosperity sphere as it lurched past WWII towards the approaching next millennium.
Commie small talk.
Kneel! Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural
state? Its the unspoken truth of humanity that you
crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes
your lifes joy in a mad scramble for power. For
identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you
will always kneel!
But the Federal government DID NOT round up and intern Japanese Americans in Hawaii as they did on the mainland. There were too many of them; overwhelmingly, they proved to be loyal citizens.
FBI Director J Edgar Hoover, was opposed: FDR and SCOTUS chief Earl Warren favored internship.
Obama wears spiritual earplugs and blinders. He doesn't need to hear or see anything that will enlighten him because he heard everything he needed in a pew of "Reverend" Wright's "church".
People don’t change, ever.
Once a commie, always a commie.
Obama will always be a commie.
Oh for a reporter to ask:
“Mr. Obama, you wrote about your strong marxism in your biography. When did you stop being a marxist and what caused this change?”
