In the middle of a rambling conversation on the website Reddit on Wednesday afternoon, President Obama proposed the idea of a constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court’s 2-year-old Citizens United decision.
Obama suggested that an effort to amend the U.S. Constitution would “shine a spotlight” on the after-effects of the decision, which paved the way for today’s unlimited political expenditures by political action committees.

Since it takes 3/4 of the states to ratify a Constitutional amendment, I don’t think we have too much to worry about.

I agree. I have often said the best way to combat the liberals is to agree with them four fold. If they want to tax the rich 10% more, then introduce the legislation to tax the rich 50% more. If they want to cut funding for the military 10%, then introduce legislation to cut it 50%.
Make them stop the legislation. Make them have to explain why they cannot support such legislation.
If they had to contend with a Constitutional Convention you would see them disappear into the hinterlands. Instead the wimpy Rinos allow the Dims to control the conversations.

I’m surprised the Constitution was even on the Liberal Messiah’s mind. Usually, He simply ignores it. Acknowledging that a Constitutional amendment would be needed for Him to get what He wants is an improvement for Him.
