“explain to me how McCaskill loses 34% of very liberal voters?”
I can’t and I’m not from Mo.
But polls often show Obama and other liberals getting 10%plus of the votes of Tea Party supporters. That’s another head scratcher!

It would be great news and a miracle if this is really an accurate poll. From your post earlier today, would that make you a DUmpster troll?
"The DUmpster trolls posting here in support of akin do not concern me nearly as much as the deluded souls that think akins has greater than zero chance now."

RE: I found the latest Rassmussen Poll-dated August 23, 2012. Had Ma up 48% to Akin-38%.
Freepers already knew that. That’s why the title of this thread uses the verb : RE-TAKEN of this latest poll.

Because the term “very liberal” or “very Conservative” are subjective terms and what a person in Mississippi interprets as very liberal for them my be simply middle of the road elsewhere.

I posted that last week when this was festering and everyone was diminishing Akin.

Besides, Mississippi is just a land mass between New Orleans and Mobile.

Not too old. Aug.23. And a poll conducted by Mason-Dixon (for StL Dispatch) on Aug. 25 showed similiar results. 50%-McCaskill. 41%-Akin.

Could someone from MO please explain to me how McCaskill loses 34% of very liberal voters? How is that possible? I would expect a number more along the lines of 90% to 10%. Akin, for example, got 81% vs. 5% among very conservative voters.Your questions are valid ones and I have no answer for them except that McCasket's negatives are that high, Missourians associate Obamacare with McCasket, and Missourians voted 75% to 25% to overturn Obamacare in Missouri and that included a lot of Democrats in that 75%.

And, yes, The RNC and other Republican groups should give financial support to Akin. No one should forget who hes trying to unseat, and the importance of gaining control of the Senate. If he does win, it sure goes a long way toward rendering the Dem claim of a Republican "War on Women" meaningless and irrelevant.

If he wins in November, we will have at least one senator with an R after his name who has absolutely no love for the GOP-E!

Looks like it pretty closely tracks the 2010 election split. If so, could be OK.

Never confuse gratitude with support. If Todd Akin climbs in the polls, will you support him?

I don’t think it is possible, that is her strongest base. That number needs to be explained.

“If Todd Akin climbs in the polls, will you support him?’
If Akin is on the ballot in Nov, he has my vote. My concern is it the best route to take to get rid of McCaskill.

A lot of people take poll results as gospel if they like the numbers, and dismiss them as trash if they don’t.
