Don't lose sight of the fact that in the primary the majority of Missouri Republicans preferred someone other than Akin.
Akin is not a victim. He is not being roasted for no reason. He is paying a price for his actions. And if he loses the election this November it'll because his series of bone-headed remarks and no other reason.
No, if he loses it will be due to the oh so moralistic purveyors of deep thoughts who think we can win the war for our republic via retreat. Akin is in. Support him.
And don't lose sight of the fact that those same Missouri Republicans are united in preferring the one with the "R" by their name over the alternative.
