I’m done, had it, final straw, I am changing my registration to independent and will not cast a presidential vote. No money for any RNC or any national candidate. I live in Texas and my non-vote will make no difference.

They have pushed me one step too far. Good bye GOP from a member for 42 years.

will not cast a presidential vote

Four more years of Obama and the perhaps irrevocable state socialization of America. That'll show 'em...

“I am changing my registration to independent ...I live in Texas...”

We don’t have that type of registration in Texas. What you do in the primary decides what you are. If you vote in the Democrat primary, they stamp your voter card “Democrat”. If you vote in the Republican parimay, they stamp your voter card, “Republican”. If you do not vote in either party’s primary, you are considered “undetermined” - your voter card, of course, is not stamped with any designation because you didn’t vote in either primary.

When your voter card in a primary is stamped “Democrat” or “Republican”, that designation follows you until the next primary.
