I do feel sorry for the guy . . . to paraphrase what I’ve seen: “politics is hard, but it’s harder if you’re stupid.”
I think the guy’s heart was in the right place, so I suppose I could work up some sorrow for him, but he has been in politics long enough to avoid this type of situation. I agree, it is harder if you’re stupid. Decent call...
