I have never heard of such a thing, since the rapist is likely serving a serious prison sentence, and anyway, parental rights can be terminated by the courts.

Better to have the actuality and finality of the death of the innocent child rather than the far-fetched, almost nonsensical possibility outlined above. That makes you less ill, right?
