"She probably should look up projection in the psychiatric dictionary." You know - the older I get the more I realize that this is the driving force behind almost every negative action I see.
I did not get enough personal evidence in my life until I was over 40 but since then I watch for it and see, and you are exactly right.
There is an old saying "You are what you hate" and that describes 'projection' perfectly.
I teach that to my children all the time- people are generally the exact same way they think others are.
This is why conservatives get nailed all the time I tend to trust everyone and think everyone has loving and caring thoughts and actions, and so when someone comes along and outright lies to me it generally shocks me, but it is usually from a liberal.
I used to own 14 apartment units, and any contractor I hired who said "dont worry, you can trust me" became a red flag that was usually a sure sign they were a lying thief.

Ellen Barkin - a 58 year old who doesn't know the difference between "your and you're" and "lose and loose."
What a genius!
Must have someone else read her script to her.
Latest acting job - a Buttinsky mother of a surrogate mother who is having a child for a homosexual couple in NBC's new series "The New Normal."
Pray tell, she must be the "wise one" of the cast who imparts her worldly wisdom on the lesser lights of the cast.
NBC? TV show featuring homosexuals?
Pool starts now for:
How long before Chik-fil-A is mentioned?
How long before the word "homophobe" is used?
How long before reruns of "My Mother the Car" replaces this crock?

Irrelevantosis (n): The condition faced by fading, Botox-juiced celebrities who resist inevitable post-fame obscurity by making extreme, incoherent statements in a last, desperate clamor for attention.

How long before Chik-fil-A is mentioned? Ten minutes.
How long before the word “homophobe” is used? First five minutes, but I won’t be watching this tripe.

Two washed up hags who are as ugly on the outside as they are on the inside. I guess all that skin stretching of their face does more then make them look stupid, it makes them angry.

I remain amazed that actors (people who recite the thoughts of others with false sincerity) are taken seriously by anyone.Contemporary troubadors and court jesters.
That's what they are -- and they know it.

When I first heard this, when Buckaroo Banzai said it about a cryin' Barkin, I thought it was about the stupidest thing ever said: "No matter where you go, there you are."
The older I get, the more I see its simple wisdom and its unsaid advice and counsel.

Judging by her comment, perhaps this lassie is “pro-murder of babies, anti-education but pro-brainwashing of the youth, anti-male, anti-religion (but would never specify Islam — she’d say “all religions”), and is herself a racist SOB.

Thank you. And the reason your friend “just knows it” is because he was raised in a society whose ethics and morality was based upon the tenanats of Judeo-Christainity. I wonder if any atheists ever thought of that? The society that they condemn as ‘bigoted and biased’ is the one that gives them the freedom to dissent and believe as they do. Of course we see the benevolence of their toleration everyday in the political discourse fromt the left.

“Cher strikes me as totally emotionally unstable. Shes like a deranged leftoever hippie who talks about world peace and love one minute and how she hates teabaggers the next. “
Whaddya mean she’s “like” a deranged, leftoever, hippie?
