KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) -- A man who was apparently trying to provoke reports of a Bigfoot sighting in northwestern Montana was struck by two cars and killed.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the man was wearing a military style "Ghillie suit" and was standing in the right-hand lane of U.S. Highway 93 south of Kalispell when he was hit by the first car Sunday night. A second car hit him as he lay in the roadway.
Flathead County officials identified the man as 44-year-old Randy Lee Tenley of Kalispell.

...so it’s come to this...
By the mid 1990's when every other person had either a cam corder, camera or cell phone with camera, I decided that no mysterious object could display itself without good photographs being taken by somebody. Since none have ever surfaced, the answer is obvious.
I’ve been very close to I-93...taken I-90 up through Idaho once from WY and on to Seattle, but don’t recall anything remarkable about that area, as far as unusual traffic hazards went. Lots of other things were memorable.
Well, at least he was drunk. I'd hate to think anyone would do something this stupid while sober.
It doesn’t mean Bigfoot isn’t real.....man!
They can drive until 11:00PM.

It’s summer still. I don’t think they’re back to school until Wednesday so they were still on summer break. It’s light out until 9:00PM still.
North of the reservation on hwy 93 is fairly bad (all the way to Eureka) for drivers too. The biggest problem (after the drunks) is the number of deer in the road. They’re like palestinian suicide deer.
I’m inclined to think he was getting ready for archery season. Deer & Elk opens Sept 1st.
I didn’t read the full article so I will take it that friends and family confirmed his “hold my beer” activity.
Invisibility brings distinct survival advantages ... except on a road.
LOL!
Now that's funny and maybe true, sadly.
When he had lain awake at night ruminating, do you suppose he dreamed he’d go out in such an undignified manner? Not likely. Forty-something. It’s tough to figure this. Tsk tsk
Could have been worse. He might have been dressed as Darth Vader and use the force against the car.
That stretch of road is too dangerous, he should’ve tried using the Bigfoot crossing, where there are warning signs to drivers.
During my youth I still believed in bad guys and two escaped convicts went on a killing spree near where I lived and I had a gun in my car at all times. Still waiting for that opportunity too! LOL
Sorry, had to make a true story a joke. I see on TV we can now fing Bigfoot with beef jerky!
Did you also note he died in “Flathead County”? Did Sas- squash die with a Flathead?
Hey, man, wait! I think he's alive... Back up!
Thump, thump.
No, man, he's dead, lets go!
Thump, thump.
Maybe he took his uncle seriesly. Just guessin.
“old fashion”
I tend to agree with you if teens are out late running around without any particular place in mind to go.
Our summer days are longer and our winter days are short and cold, and the season long. We take advantage of the time before it turns cold again.
We are very different from a lot of other areas. We are still small town.
