Yahoo! News asked voters to pinpoint one single issue they want the GOP to talk about during its convention in Tampa, Fla. Through their photos and words, here's what's important in their lives.

Economy?
What other country in the world would allow someone to enter illegally, lay down roots, use the public systems and deplete taxpayer money? I can't think of one. If a law is broken and the person is not punished, what message does that speak to the next offender? In California, we face overcrowded schools, high unemployment and cities filing for bankruptcy -- yet the government turns a blind eye to those that ...
I'd like to see the GOP address the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Well couldn’t get onto the page but the one picture says everything you need to know about what is wrong with the country. Why should you get a bailout? If everybody needs a bailout where is the money going to come from to bail everyone out? Why did you take out the loans if you couldn’t pay them back?
RNC listening to the grass roots, unified to defeat Obozo.
I noticed that too. I really think if Romney gives a Jack Kennedy speech saying, "by the end of the decade we will be energy independent ...," it could be game over for Obama. Kids like him are hungry for a vision.
For me its the issue of "Magic Underwear" and whether they need to be changed daily.
(Not really, but I'll use any opening I can get, to mention "Magic Underwear"... because it makes me giggle like a school girl every time I type it.)
He could pay the loans back (assuming he’s not a philosphy major) if he could find a job. Energy independance for this country will bring more jobs than we have people. Hope Romney makes that the theme.
No Obamacare - No Romneycare!
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.
I am a veteran, a Dad (of two currently in uniform), and a grandparent.
I am retired (sorta).
My "one issue"?
I worry that the Marxist in the White House might be re-elected because some very good conservatives and other very nice people want a perfect candidate, and that they would see our precious Republic fail in order to settle a score with the GOP "insiders".
Please understand, I too want to clean house with the GOP elite by clean-sweeping the moderate squishes out of positions of control; however, I know that this is for the political "off season", not for the most critical election in our fine country's history.
It's not enough to vote for Romney/Ryan.
We must each work to get five more of us to do the same, and that means a ride to the polls and a nice lunch afterward.
Again, my one issue. This is THE MOST CRITICAL ELECTION OF OUR COUNTRY'S HISTORY, please see the importance of voting and save the score-settling house cleaning with the party elites for 2013.

More specifically, decent jobs (with salaries that take into account the unreported inflation).
That is Obama’s weakest spot; he wants to create a nation of government-dependent serfs, while Repubs need to create more workers via individual and corporate tax cuts (who then became taxpayers, parents, maybe homeowners). The issues in all three sectors (falling tax revenues, declining American birthrates, and the housing market) can all be attributed to a lack of stable, decent jobs.
Without jobs we’ve become Western Europeans...
The deficit, birth certificate, Kobold.
Repeal ObamaCare, in total.
Do not replace it with anything.
Salt the earth.
Erase every aspect of it.
Who put a gun to your head and told you to borrow $40,000 for a degree in ethnic studies or art history? You’d probably have been better off in an apprenticeship, a community college or sales training seminar.
How does a 4th grader accumulate $40k in loans?
What’s the average national debt liability per family household thanks to the un-American jackass? Something around $160k?
