Dear Friends,
After a long delay, the USDA today has allowed the Central Valley Meat Company to resume operations with additional safeguards to prevent the inhumane treatment of livestock. Seeing as there was never any risk of contamination of the food supply, I commend the USDA's decision, which will allow hundreds of hard-working Americans to get back to their jobs.
Sincerely,
Devin
Is this the company that In’n’Out was getting some of its hamburger from?
I’m not sure about that. However the FDA said there was no danger of contamination of the meat. It had to do more with the way the animals were treated prior to slaughter.
