Workers at a Tyson Foods poultry processing plant in Tennessee have opted to trade a paid Labor Day holiday for the Muslim celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
A 5-year contract approved by members of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union at the Shelbyville, Tenn., plant last November includes the change to accommodate Muslim workers.

I no longer celebrate it since they kicked Jerry Lewis off his own telethon. Just a normal day for me now.
Thanks for letting me know that Tyson can now join my list of “don’t buys.”
Sooner or later the limp-wristed CEOs will realize that we conservatives don’t threaten to boycott...we just don’t buy - period.
Tyson foods, you can shove your products up your smelly -insert appropriate muslim term here.
Thanks for the info.
Noh moh Tyson for us from now on.
August 27th is hereby declared “null and void steps in it day.”
Your friends,

First the Jewish comedian is pulled off the air during this Muslim Holiday after raising billions for children with MD and now this?
Pretty easy dots to connect.
Don't forget to inform Tyson why. Otherwise the boycott is useless. Worse, they'll blame the slowdown on the Republican controlled Congress.
Keep reading the thread - this story is 4 years old and no such policy exists at Tyson.
Please read the thread, the whole thread, and nothing but the thread.

Why are you posting a story from 2008?
null and void owes me two packages of breaded chicken patties
We buy our meat from a small, family owned local grocery store that still tags the prices on the groceries. The chickens I buy from them are smaller but are the absolute best I have ever had. When I was traveling overseas, France had the best tasting chicken and this is as close as you can get. Also, their filet mignons are sold as a tenderloin for $9.99 a pound and hubby says they taste so incredibly good that it rivals Ruth’s Chris.
In the past, I have bought Tyson’s and Pilgrim Pride but they both smelled like they were teetering on the edge of being rotten. Certainly not worth getting sick over or dying for. Plus, I don’t want to pay to support muslims if I can help it. And they can stick halal up their butts.
So’s I can get piled on?
Thanks for taking one for the team.
................Makes since they use muslims to chop the heads off chickens..........................
Maybe that’s part of the ritual to make sure the knife is rusty and dull, all the better to saw the head off of Danny Pearl and all the other infidels!
As long as the barbeque pork and bacon are not Tyson brand.
Tyson Foods are not welcome in my home. Not now, not ever!
Lawsuit claims Tyson Foods conspired with LULAC to hire illegal aliens
Tyson Foods hiring suit tossed; will appeal; evidence they harbored illegal aliens
Arkansas Friendship Coalition: ACLU, Tyson Foods, ACORN join to support "immigration"
I guess last time around the Dems gave there members a choice of a Marxist Muslim or a female Gangster.
The Liar in Chief and his spouse were quite a team.
You’ve gotta be Effing kidding me!
They get their freaking “birthday as a paid holiday”.
The muzzies purposely negotiated an American Holiday for something no one gets a day off.
I’d say Tyson negotiators are demonstrably idiots.
UGH - those things are just gross - and I've never eaten them - just the name tells me all I need to know!!!!
And Pearl Beer! Lots of Pearl Beer!
Is there still a Pearl Beer? LBJ's favorite.
