Writing and distributing a book is a BIG DEAL. The author of an autobiography should be and IS involved in every minute detail of the book. There is no way that blurb got into the inside cover of Obozo's book without his approval.

Although some on the right were disappointed that Romney did not pursue this, he was wise not to. This was not the right time. The right time is during a debate. At least one moderator will find Romney's bait irresistible, and I am guessing it will be CNN's Candy Crowley. What follows is a proposed strategy for the Hofstra University debate on October 16. My guess is that Romney has pretty much figured it out already, thus the remark in Michigan:
CC: Governor Romney, in Michigan you told a crowd of supporters, "No one has ever asked to see my birth certificate." Don't you believe that the birth certificate President Obama presented last year is valid?
MR: I have questions about its validity, but that is not why I raised the issue.
CC: Why did you, then? Weren't you afraid that some people, minorities and immigrants especially, will see that as a subtle attack on President Obama because of his race?
MR: Candy, not at all. No one ever asked to see Jesse Jackson's birth certificate when he ran for president or Al Sharpton's when he ran. And they are both black, both proud representatives of the president's party. I raised that issue because of the unique uncertainty surrounding Obama's early years. I know I was born and raised in Michigan. I said as much. I would ask you or the president himself to tell us where he spent the first year of his life.
CC: Mr. President?
BO: Um, um, I am not sure I understand why this question is relevant.
CC: Governor?
MR: It is relevant because President Obama built his 2008 campaign, indeed his very persona, around the fact that he was born into a happy multicultural home. . .

Hmmm, well considering Romney’s grandfather defected to Mexico, where his father was born, and it’s unclear whether George Romney ever became a naturalized citizen, Romney is the last person to throw stones.
IF that issue comes up Romney should simply invite 0bama to explain to the American people not only the reason he’s been using a Connecticut SSN when he was never a resident of that state, but to explain why he has spent well over a million dollars with the law firm of Perkins Coie to suppress and fight legal challenges to his Constitutional eligibility to hold the position of POTUS. Wind up that pitch with a question “Mr 0bama, were you lying then, or are you lying now?”
So he has even less proof then Obama?
Give it a rest. Even these guys admit that George Romney was a citizen (though not NBC) when Mittens was born in the US to citizen parents. That satisfies the constitutional requirement for the 2012 presumptive GOP nominee.
Cashill actually brought up the SSN issue in the hypothetical debate exchange. :)
Well, I hate to disappoint you, but I have great trouble with you saying that. As much as I disagree with Obama on almost everything, I think the fact that you say that reflects badly on YOUR CHARACTER, NOT HIS. Maybe your are just tired, but I'd recommend you reconsider it and apologize, because saying something like that about someone's mother is low-class and shameful.

I guess I have to give Obama credit, he has used this birth certificate issue to distract people from the real issues, and certain people have fallen for it, hook, line, and sinker.

Nope. Not buying the argument. The thing that Mitt needs to focus on, if he is going to play this card, is the inconvertible fact that the Birth Certificate Obama released was an utter fabrication.
That, alone, indicates a level of contempt for the laws and the citizens of The United States of America that utterly exceeds anyone’s reasonable expectations for a President.
I am confident of Sheriff Joe’s findings. He had to be sure nine ways from Sunday that it was false. Too much at stake otherwise. And haven’t you noticed how quickly it was forgotten? The MSM slipped it right off the radar.
Talking about it during a debate, and then allowing the discussion to expand to other missing documents... this is Obama’s most horrifying fear because there is no way in Hell he can let anyone see the real documents.
But he won’t have that option if forced into a promise to produce them. If Romney can force his hand there, it’s checkmate — and all over but the shouting.
The only question is whether Mitt has the gonads to go for the jugular like that. I think he might.
