I think Paul thinks Romney is full of crap like the rest of us here.

Wake up and smell the roses. Romney will be one of the greatest Presidents since Regan. Ignorance is no excuse.

You wake up and smell the coffee.

Myth Romney is to the Political LEFT of Ted Kennedy.

He already instituted gay marriage AND
death panels AND RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE.

And he denies it all, while using it.

Who is the Regan of which you speak? You might want to put the crack pipe down before you type.... Romney is all but a Democrat, and will govern accordingly. Nothing great about that.

You forgot your sarcasm mark or that is the most ignorant ill-informed statement in the history of FR.

With the hand he is being dealt, he well could be. Some men achieve greatness. Others have it thrust upon them. If in four years, Romney brings unemployment under 5% and brings the deficit under $400 billion, he would have pulled off a Presidential miracle even greater than what Reagan did. Not to take a single thing away from Reagan, but the problems we currently face are well within Romney's area of expertise.

(Full disclosure: I supported Santorum in the primary)

I don't know about "since Regan". I don't think Romney has the depth Reagan had. But I will say I am hoping he is reading the tea leaves on this. He CAN go down in history as one of the best President's and all he has to do is get the government out of our lives (sever cuts in "regulations") and off our backs (sever cuts in the government itself). Americans will take care of the rest and he can coast to a second term.

I reserve the right to make a greatness claim after I see the results of policy. I voted for Bush thinking that he would be great, thank god it's not on tape or on the net, I'm not sure how I would live that one down. Being wrong is not a crime but it can be very embarrassing.

What? I don’t think I’d go *that* far. All I want is for 0bama & the dimwit useful idiots to get thrown out of office. We’ll deal with the rest of it after, but that is Job One.

While I agree wrt the Federal Reserve stuff, I will never understand the attraction people have to Ron Paul. He’s so...excitable. I tune him out when he starts revving up. (Santorum affected me almost the same way. I’m probably not going to listen to Mitt much more than I do 0bama.)

If I’m wrong, I will enthusiastically accept your I-told-you-so.
