If Congress would just pass a law, then the bad guys would leave us alone!

Group members said these planes should not be used to entertain.

They're not there to "entertain".

They're there to inspire.

Ya fricking hippie.

I've never seen the Thunderbirds. A couple years ago, I did have the privelege of watching the Blue Angels practice the day before an air show.

I s'pect the Thunderbirds shows are quite similar.

It says right here: It was impressive.

Those anti-warplane Maineiacs sure cried the blues when they closed Loring Air Force Base there, a SAC base with fighters, bombers, and nukes.

The Thunderbird’s planes are inert, most all of the weaponry has been removed.

Yes, the have a “recruiting” role, but, so what? We’re an all-volunteer force now...a force which guarantees these old codgers the right to protest.

Jesus would never join the military.

At least we know he never did.

On one occasion, at least, Jesus thought a centurion lived an exemplary life...possibly worth emulating.

Their just enjoying the rights and privileges bought and paid for with the blood and courage of our ancestors. They've forgotten or were never taught about it. Until our Revolution there was no such thing as civil rights for the common person.

Gee, I don't know about Jesus not joining the military, kids:
11 Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems; and he has a name inscribed which no one knows but himself. 13 He is clad in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, followed him on white horses. 15 From his mouth issues a sharp sword with which to smite the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron; he will tread the wine press of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name inscribed, King of kings and Lord of lords.
(Revelation 19:11–16)

“Jesus would NEVER join the military.”

No, He will LEAD a Heavenly army against the forces of evil after the Tribulation. That is even better!

Guess they don’t call ‘em “mainiacs” for nuthin...

myopically sanctimonious pacifists might change their mind if they were a female westerner riding on a bus in Cairo. Folks, evil is a real thing, and it wants to eat you.

All my years in the military I believed I was protecting the country as a SAC trained killer. Peace is Our Profession.

Any time you get half a dozen idiots together, journalism school grads feel like it is their solemn duty to be there with their noses up the idiots butt's. And inflate their numbers.

I don't know how many times I have seen the liars act like one hand's worth is an innumerable multitude.

“Jesus would NEVER join the military.”

Yet it was a gentile soldier, a very bloody centurian, whom Jesus praised as having greater faith than anyone else in Israel.

Two ironies in that second photo. One, the military secured their right to say anything they want on their sign. And two, those pacifist are going to be REALLY surprised when Jesus returns.
