I hope I would react the same, but it seems too many PDs all have the “shoot ‘em first and let God sort ‘em out later” mentality. Anyone holding a gun at a shooting becomes a target.
I think it was measured at over 150 yards. Pretty darn effective pistolero with that .357!

This happened here in TX and I never heard of it.
On the .357, there was a post on FR a couple weeks ago from a medical examiner. He opined that the .357 was the number one effective weapon for certain death, in his opinion.
