Can we just resurrect Patton and put him in charge, please?????

No doubt ol' George is spinning in his resting place like a top:

"The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his. George S Patton.

All this "Nation Building" and "Heats and Minds" crap is best left to the civilians AFTER we have won decisively and we should let the Military do what they do best: destroy things and kill people....period!!!

Afghan is starting to make Vietnam appear like a well-run and organized campaign, which had its share of stupid ROE's but none like this and I don't remember reading much of the ARVN turning on our troops and killing them?

Too bad all the armchair Generals and REMF in the Pentagon are now mostly political animals who would as soon follow the diktats of the hate America and Military Regime than look out for the troops; between them all they can't come up with a pair!

Hope Romney wins and brings them all home as we are wasting lives of our best, brightest and bravest for a lost cause.

I agree. It is a shame that we think we can impose “freedom” on people who have no desire for it, or the intellectual capacity for it. It just gifts the society to tyrants. And we allow our sons and daughters to die for such an impossible cause?

We should have allowed Patton to destroy Russia and set back the Marxism that has almost destroyed Europe now, and is attempting to enslave us.

Patton was so wise. He is absolutely spinning-—I could hear him yelling at the traitors who allowed the Vice of Sodomy to be “glorified” and “celebrated” by the brass. What evil times we will see because of the intentional removal of Virtue from the military.
