Starting at the end of this month the Democratic National Convention will open with a focus on Islam; 20,000 Muslims are expected to attend, according to the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs, the national Muslim American non-profit coordinating the two days of events they claim are non-political.
”Jumah at the DNC” begins August 29 and will start with a Friday afternoon jummah prayer followed by other unnamed programs and events, leading up to the Islamic Regal Banquet. The following day will be an all day Islamic Cultural and Fun Fest which will include discussions on the topics of Islamaphobia, Anti-Shariah, Middle Eastern Crisis, Patriot Act, National Defense Authorization Act and more.

They wouldn’t dare have a traditional Christian priest or minister offer a traditional Christian prayer, would they? Now that would be mixing church and state, the canonical no no for Rats! But mixing mosque and state, no problemo!

This will not help Obama in his reelection bid. Most of the Muslim here are here on work/school visas and are not eligible to vote. But, it sure will piss off a lot of Christians.

I am starting to feel that Obama, if he wins, will throw open the doors to muslim immigration.
Obama is to do the keynote address of the Jumah event. Bring the Jahadi girls on stage.
I really don’t get the strategy for the DNC. They are embracing muslims, and gay marriage which adds a minor segment of the population to their core, and tossing out Catholics and the most conservative Protestants. That is not an equal trade by any stretch.

Democrats have always been a strange collection of competing interests. The party of the Klan embraced blacks. The pro-choice eugenic crowd and all minorities. Labor and the ultra rich. Now muslims, feminists, and Jews.
I don’t think they care about this election anymore. I believe they know that after the 2010 mid terms, this election is going to be redux times 100.
All is lost for the democrat party until it is retaken by sanity. Sanity like America hasnt seen from them since Humphrey. It’s going to be awhile.
This has to be satire, right? No one could possibly be that stupid, could they? This is on a par with funding a daycare center run by sodomites so they can feel included in the community. If it is real; it is a gift, an absolute gift.
