Obama: 'My Faith in Jesus Is Legitimate and Real' {BARF!!}

In an interview with the Washington National Cathedral magazine, President Obama discussed how his faith influenced his politics — saying that at the end of the day 'God is in control.'

“First and foremost, my Christian faith gives me a perspective and security that I don’t think I would have otherwise: that I am loved. That, at the end of the day, God is in control," Obama said.

Obama also briefly addressed the ongoing (false) doubts about his faith — including rumors that he is a Muslim (which he is not).

"I have a job to do as president, and that does not involve convincing folks that my faith in Jesus is legitimate and real. I do my best to live out my faith, and to stay in the Word, and to make my life look more like His," Obama said "What I can do is just keep on following Him, and serve others—trying to make folks’ lives a little better using this humbling position that I hold."

He chose to make the grammatical center and subject of the sentence himself which is typical of any egomaniac.

That oh so simple and oh so beautiful Christian hymn that is taught the very young says, Jesus loves me, this I know, which makes Jesus the subject and us his chosen object of his favor which is unmerited because that Eternal favor which is granted is by his grace alone and it is not merited.

The love that Barry is talking about is not by the Eternal but temporal because his exposure to Christian faith and his Christian teacher was the Reverend Jeremiah Wright who was not a teacher of anything theological but everything ideological.

Barry got one thing right and that is, that he is loved because he is of the world not of Christ.

The world loves Barry and the world hates me because I am a Christian. I can deal with that because Jesus loves me this I know.

John 15:19 tells us why Barry said that "I am loved," and why I know that Jesus loves me even though the world hates me.

It is not for me to judge what is in a man's heart. That is something that only God can do.
That disclaimer aside, Mr. Obama's professions about his 'Christian faith' and 'Christ' always comes across as forced and fake. He has gotten better over the years, as I'm sure he has gotten more training from his minions as they try to copy what they hear in Christian circles... All I get from this quote is that Mr. Obama embraces a social gospel of do-goodism. Good deeds certainly spring forth from faith in Christ (orphanages, hospitals, helping the poor, eliminating slavery, education, etc), but they spring forth from the incredible gratitude one has for such a Saviour. Good deeds - yes - but when given a chance to talk about his 'Christian faith', Mr. Obama had nothing to say about his Saviour. Where were the exclamations of God manifest in the flesh? God the Son who shed His glory and suffer the indignity to be borne a man and bear our sins ('For you know the grace of Lord Jesus Christ, though He was rich, for your sakes He became poor; that you, through His poverty, might be made rich')? Given the opportunity to talk about his claimed 'Christian faith', Mr. Obama chose to talk about his own good works, and no praise for what the Lord Jesus Christ, God's Son, and his Saviour, had done for him.

I'm sorry, Mr. Obama just comes across as someone wanting to use the Lord Jesus as a tool. Maybe there is more depth in his heart than he lets on, but based on his actions - his words seem appropriate: plastic, and fake.

Let me elaborate:
Issa is the bogus Jesus in the Koran. According to the Koran, Issa was never crucified, but was “spirited away”. While the Koran describes the virgin birth, Issa was not the Son of God. Issa is supposed to return with the Mahdi (12th Imam, according to the Shia), and tell everyone that he did not die on the cross, and that Mohammed was right. Issa would then join the Mahdi on waging jihad against the Christians and Jews and all non-Muslims. Just another of Satan’s lies.
So we’re not talking about Darryl Issa.

My FRiend, I appreciate your elaborating on that point, I WAS KIDDING with you, your mention of 'Issa' just seemed like an opportunity for a bit of sly humor, and while I knew that 'Issa' was a character out of the fictional Koran, I will admit I didn't know the details that you have graciously shared, so I know more now than I did before, and I thank you for that.

What evidence is there to back up his claim that his faith is real?

Lets see. He says that he was converted by attending Jermiah Wrights church, but doesn’t recall any of Wrights “God damn America and the Jews” sermons.

Then he “occasionally” attends “churches” in Washington DC area (like twice a year) and “is routinely advised” by visiting pastors (so being “advised” by a pastor is like going to church?).

In other words, the man does not attend a church now. He does not have Sunday services in the WH, which he could easily request.

The only church he ever attended was a black liberation Marxists church filled with racial hatred. We don’t know if he really even showed up much to that “church”.

Isn’t it obvious that the man is claiming to be a Christian for political reasons?

Remember how he referred to Christ as “a son of God”? No one who understands Christianity would say that. He is a faker, a liar about his faith like everything else.

Obama has said the the ARabic call to prayer is the most beautigul sound on earth - and recites it in perfect Arabic - learned, no doubt, when attending Koran studies in Indonesia - in one of his book, he compained about his mother making him get up at 4 every morning for ‘school studies’ - he didn’t say WHAT studies - but ‘coincidentally’, the first of the 5 times a day of the call to prayer is at 4 in the morning.
