Now the MSM will be forced to comment and talk about how good the Obambi response was....and talk show hosts will ridicule all of them.
Further....the Rush - Levin - Hanity talk shows will be able to discuss in detail the Obama response...since it seems that these major talkers have been reluctant to push the birther issue.

I was with those who said a syphilitic camel would be better than Obama and I still am. So, as much as Romney/Ryan are better than syphilitic camels, it’s all gravy to me.

Yes, possibly, check out this link, if it is true and not some fantasy, they are not just in Obama's Head but I think they are in the "OODA Loop" of Jerret and Axelrod. I think they have them all rattled.
While I 'll give Team Obama kudos for a rapid response. notice the Labels
i.e. "Brithers", much like "Teabaggers" and "Bitter Clingers".
They engage in name calling and it's preceptions without getting into the details of the people and their thoughts and beliefs. We all know they can't, it is a loosing arguement for them. IMHO they are bullies, as are the Chris Matthews of the world.
And yes they are desperate, they must have internals that have them even or behind. On top of it, they must have some data about the birth issue that has them trying to shift the discussion, rather than avoiding it.
I am getting the feeling after reading about Team Romney's Data Mining and the potential micro-polling mentioned in the link above, that Team Romney is employing resources and tactics that are cutting edge and they probably have not revealed all the arrows in their quiver, we may learn about them post his victory.
Regardless, it denotes a team hell bent on winning, but if may also reflect on Mitt's Bain days of seaking out the best and building a winning team to pursue the "goal" in mind, whether it is turning around a broke company, or now winning in the general.
Their are Freepers that have asked and I do so again, does team Romney have a group of "shrinks" aboard to give advice where to poke and prod team Obama's weak spots.
It be curious to see in the next big rallies after the convention if Mitt is on stage with a Bible and a Gun, and at one point him or his wife wear a hat with Tea Bags or have a cup of tea.....:-)

Mitt sells out, he wants to be everybody’s huckleberry, to the point of a painful fence straddle. So he tells some whoppers, claiming he’s pleasing everybody (he isn’t — no compromise can) and probably will do so for his whole career.
I believe it’s still easier to work with that — he is more amenable to influence by the popular will — than it is to work with a dogmatic Marxist. Some disagree, and think Barack brittle enough to break while Mitt will be forever getting into please-everybody messes that are difficult to clean up.
If I had steam to blow it would be at the 90% of voters who did not budge from their bottoms in the primaries. THAT was the chance to get someone better than Mitt on the ballot, and there was never an easier time to ensure a person with actual conservative views would get accepted in the general election. Obama stands to be beaten by a moldy stale ham sandwich and Mitt is proof of that.
Well if some accounts are to be believed, Obama and Co. pushed and pushed to get their GOP opponent to be a mush, and thought they had succeeded in Mitt Romney. Well it turns out even Mitt has some wild hairs they did not count on. How dare a rival ever state the obvious? Well, Mitt did.
Well, Barack richly deserves every barb he gets from Mitt.
And it’s some relief to see that Mitt doesn’t just have his guns aimed at rivals on the more conservative side. That was getting really old and smelly.
Mitt may still be an enfant terrible in the White House. He may toss barbs at the conservative side of the GOP and, of course, get effusive attaboys from the MSM for it. It is going to be a bumpy ride. (It still beats a crash and burn.)
