Akin cant win. He can only help Democrats have a boogeyman to run against.
The DNC will make their convention a “legitimate rape awareness week” ... They’d give Akin a keynote if it can help thme distract from economy and budget ... Every day Akin is in the race is a gift to the proAborts.
He’s going to announce that his campaign is going to raise funds by selling a new line of chasity belts
Maybe she’s locked him out of the house and he’s called a press conference to beg her to let him back in. :)

Akin has raised close to $150K in the last few days. He is not getting out, and with Mike Huckabee’s (bless him) backing, he is doing just fine.
I am not liberal, not at all, and I’m strongly pro-choice.
I also want desperately to remove Obama from the Presidency and to take the Senate so we can repeal Obamacare and control the replacement of aging Supreme Court Justices.
Akin, with his well-meaning but ignorant remarks, stands in the way of those goals. He needs to go. Now. Before it’s too late.
That flake is not man enough to drop out.

Rumors around here all day were that he was dropping out. I guess he called the press conference to tamp down the rumors. Too bad this man is so small and foolish.
Maybe he’s going to announce that he’s gay, transsexual, or an illegal alien. At this point nothing could surprise me.
At least he will get the Pro-Abort Support from the ones trashing him on here.....
Akin translated: Its all about my own career and screw what anyone else in the party thinks. I’d rather lose this seat to a proabort liberal then step aside and let a better conservative candidate have a shot at it. I’m a stubborn old coot.
Mike Huckabee has one vote, and it’s not even in Missouri.
Akin may be raising money, but he’s losing votes, and probably the Senate and possibly Missouri’s electoral votes come November.
He may be a fine man, but he needs to show how fine he is by retiring to private life, for the good of all. This is much bigger than him.
Are they all RINOs. Why are they supporting someone who got most of his funding from Democrats?
