Nothing dumb about him at all. He votes smarter than 90% of the Congress. Medical professionals had advanced that theory in credible research. Pregnancy by rape is rare and not what the vast amount of abortions are for.
Why can’t God call him home?
I don’t believe he’s a liberal plant. The only reason to hold a press conference is if something has changed. You don’t hold a press conference to say I’ve really, REALLY thought about it and, yep, I’m still staying. LOL, that would really be shooting yourself in the foot.

Yes, he is a stupid zealot who believes what he wants to contrary to any facts.

Liberal plant? The guy’s a six-term congressman, with a conservative record on the issues. I don’t think he’s a liberal plant; rather, he’s a pretty solidly conservative politician who said one mind-bogglingly stupid thing, and doesn’t seem to realize that, sometimes, saying one mind-numbingly stupid thing is enough to kill a political career (or a political campaign, at least).
Huck should put his money where his mouth is.

Good point. But no one has accused him of being bright. Politicians who produce precious soundbites like “legitimate rape” have a habit of consistently producing missteps as a critical part of their overall strategery

He’s achin’ to be breakin’ the news about his new shoes from Tom McCann.
It’s a press conference. Something most candidates do and should do more often. We don’t need stiff, programmed speeches and rallies like you get from empty-suited phonies like Romney, we need the opportunity to engage the candidates and ask questions.

I have no idea. Akin has been totally blind-sided to the real effects that the media has on this one statement he made. I can't imagine anyone with a brain at this point telling him to "hang in there." It's like watching a house burn and you know there is someone inside. It is the most helpless feeling you could ever imagine. Todd's house is burning and he is in it!
At what point do you finally accept that TRUTH NO LONGER MATTERS in this situation, with today’s media??
Hell, the Democrats are currently planning ALL their Convention Coverage around this!! And the Mainstream Media will bleet right along with the sheep watching it.
